“Been with Lafayette Bank & Trust for over 15 years now and haven't had a problem however the mobile app is cumbersome and a bit old compared to Venmo and CashApp. Would like to see more powerful options for credit cards too especially when Chase, American Express, and Discover offer serious cash back up to 5% on various purchases with their cards.This is a great and well sorted location. Customer service is tops, easy to get in and out, lots of drive through slots too, and very positive and friendly staff.”

“Updating my review after all these years to say getting a PFCU account is the best financial decision I ever made and I did this when I was only 20. I still use PFCU after living in 3 different states and having to make grown up purchases including a car and a house. A couple months ago I needed to do a wire transfer for a home closing. I went to the shared credit union here in TX only to be told they don't do that for guests and they also don't do cashier's checks. I was in a real bind since I needed the money moved ASAP and I didn't get the amount need to close until the last minute. On the way home, I decided to call PFCU to see if they could help. Of course! I could do a wire transfer through the phone after signing a couple of forms. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant. We are 1 hour behind in TX and they were close to closing time in Indiana. He said to call him back when I got home. I called literally minutes before closing and he answered the phone and stayed on the line with me while I printed and signed the forms then he took down all the information needed to do the wire transfer. He stayed on the line with me patiently even after closing time! He told me that the wire transfer would go through first thing in the morning if not by the end of the next day. Oh bummer, I really should I thought of calling earlier because our closing was at noon the next day....was the money going to be there?! Yes, the money made it to the title company! We were able to complete our closing! Thank you so much PFCU for always being there for me! And a special thanks to the gentleman that did the wire transfer!”

“I've always had great customer service at all of the Lafayette First Merchants Bank locations! I had an issue with my direct deposit and my paycheck so I called the downtown branch. After calling the branch twice to see if they could help me trace or locate where my check went, I was told by an individual that they were unable to help and did not attempt to reach out for further assistance. The second time I called I was reminded rudely that "like I said before, we cannot see anything on our end" by the individual who answered. It wasn't until I spoke with Wren on the third call who took the time to help me and resolve the issue within 15 minutes! I would have left a three star review due to a lack of customer service by the first individual but Wren went above and beyond to help me and I'm grateful as a customer to receive that assistance.”

“My parents have been customers at this location for over 60 years. I remember going to the bank with Mom and my younger brother. This bank was the scene of the infamous Sucker Incident that the family still talks about today. Now I manage my mother's finances at this bank. I'm sure I would pass other Regions locations to use this one. The bank staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The building may look a bit retro, and its small, but it's a great place to do your banking.”
