This museum has lots of information about the old shipping business and Jeff beautiful antiques a lot of fun we went to the open house at Christmas time and it was magnificent really fun thing to go and look out at all the stuff they have

We hosted my daughter’s baby shower at The Carriage House. What a fabulous venue with plenty of space! Beautiful inside and outside. I would highly recommend.

We set up a lunch and tour for our retirement home residents here and it was wonderful. The carriage house is a wonderful venue for a party or reception, very clean and cute. We had box lunches from a local caterer and they were great. The tour of the mansion was great but the best part was how well we were treated by the staff who saw to our every need. I can highly recommend this place for a tour or a party and we will definitely be back there again.

A gem of a house museum. Some Rooms set up with period furniture (family pieces or off vessels they built) and some exhibits. Very kind staff and volunteers (Thanks jim!) Highly recommend- not only will you step into the time period but the explanation of challenging maritime terms is superb with amazing visuals. Sweet gift shop too! Accessibility notes: three levels with stairs but perhaps some accommodations to adjust that. Also mostly hardwood flooring with some carpeting. Rooms are spacious to be able to turn about without feeling like you’ll bump anything and the cases are sturdy.

We had my daughters wedding on the grounds and reception inside the Carriage House and it was absolutely perfect! Would recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous, historic setting!
