“Get in touch with the fine people at this center if you are homeless and need guidance and directions... get some mail.. take a shower... chargee your phone and use the wifi or just find someone to talk to.
You can put your head down and sleep inside.
DO NOT sit on the steps on front of the church. The center opens it's doors promptly at 8am.
A line begins to form between 6 and 7...
There are often the maximum number of people allowed in the center
You will be required to wait at the door until someone leaves on a 2 1-fo-1 basis.
Best off there's no preaching, no morning announcements, b no introducing yoursel, very back
Take the assessment so they l know who you are, what you need. Come y every day to check mail.-(once you're register) you can use them as a mailing address
They can provide assistance or guidance to help work with ever you need.”

“What the Beautification Project is doing for the city is great. I got to pick from trees I'd like for my yard, help on what trees will grow best-then once they came in had a wonderful group of people come plant them as well! I got the pleasure of working with Ellie, a truly kind soul. To be gifted with free trees that, to me, will help in many ways is pretty dang awesome!”

“Old Louisville is a must-see when coming to this city. Historic buildings displaying architecture, you won't see many other places. It's as if time is standing still in this neighborhood. You can park and walk along admiring the many homes in this community without paying. Plenty of places along the way to stop for a bite to eat or drink along the way.”

1340 S 4th St, Louisville“This was a wonderful walking tour - I highly recommend it if you are interested in architecture, Victorian times, or history in general. Our tour was given by a knowledgeable guide named Erika who treated us like old friends and was so sweet to all of us, but especially to our energetic 6 yr old. While the area is gorgeous and can be enjoyed just walking around on your own, the tour gives special context and meaning to this beautiful environment, which makes it that much more special. You can round out the visit with a coffee at Old Louisville Coffee Co-op and a tour of the Conrad- Caldwell Mansion.”
“My 7 and 8 year old loved the fall art classes. Susie is fantastic with the kids and they have many new works of art displaying around the house. Such a great experience!”
“I've seen first-hand how this organization provides not only physical needs to those in need, but emotional and spiritual needs. I'm a firm believer that the latter is almost as important as the former. Feed a man or woman's soul and it motivates them to take care of the physical needs. Calvin and the rest of the folks at LTP have tirelessly served the neediest in Louisville and I'm happy to say I've play a small part in it.”
“This organization has been pivotal in helping our healthcare students get the equipment they need to learn. I appreciate SOS so much. This is a servant organization and we will definitely be giving back as community volunteers soon. ❤️”
“The people here care greatly for the animals they work with, and do their best to match adopting families up with the best fit possible. It is a great volunteer organization in this community, and a great service to the cats they help.”
