Out of nowhere I'm headed to the grocery store and pony-girl's traction control light comes on and immediately after the check engine light started to flash. It then slowed to a creep. I was completely taken aback, it hadn't shown any signs of needing service. So of course I continue to the grocery store (I was seconds away there was nothing I could do right then lol). I get her to the parking lot and do my shopping thinking maybe she just needs a moment to herself, as we all do sometimes. I come out and BAM same issue UGH. I creep home somehow my dad ends up on my phone and mentions the good things he's heard about a place on 46th and Allisonville. He calls the next morning and they're available to take me, and it's so close to home that I don't worry about driving her a little distance. I walk in and the staff was so pleasant. We were immediately greeted and we chit chatted briefly and I gave up the keys. I got a call the next day letting me know what all was going on and what needed to happen to get her up and rolling. I was given the price and was more than happy to pay. I went to pick her up and she was ready. I wait at least two weeks before doing reviews on mechanical issues with my car because you never know if you'll have to retract or edit because it didn't go as planned. I must say I made the right decision taking my car to Vega and will continue. My battery immediately started acting silly (didn't know what it was at first) and I gave them a call to see if they knew what it could be he diagnosed it a battery issue and he was completely correct. I replaced that baby and we're all the way good. Highly suggested. Reasonable and efficient.

I have been using Vega for 3 years to services my work vehicles and also my personal vehicles as well. They are polite, reasonably priced, and they do great work. I’ve been there over 10 times from oil changes, a new clutch, motor, transmission work, etc. they can do it all. I highly recommend this place and I will continue to always bring my vehicles here and refer my friends and family.

Listen, this place is amazing!! I arrived when they opened for an exhaust leak. They had me in and out! Veronica and Felipe were extremely helpful. And on top of that, it was affordable. I wish I could give more stars ??

I have been to numerous mechanics looking for one that was honest and reputable (see my reviews) Vega is not only affordable, but they do great work. Vega is now our only mechanic. Highly recommend

I couldn't recommend Vega Auto enough! I had my car checked out at another place nearby who was trying to WAY over charge me, so I called around and found Vega Auto. Not only did they tell me they would do the job for nearly half the price, but they got my car in the next day and had it done in 2 hours. Everyone at Vega Auto is polite, professional and friendly. I am so happy to finally have found a reliable and trustworthy auto body shop in the area!

Got my transmission replaced and was told 2 hrs to diagnose 2hrs turned into keeping my car the entire weekend and taking it to another location without telling me. Repairs time was 6 days with turned into 11 days each day I contacted them I was told transmission needed programing but the lack of communication to tell a customer their car won't be ready on the day told upset me the most. Great price good wrk but bad with communication and getting things done when they say.

Vega is a great place for quick repairs on your car. But they have so many down there, that if you don't explain that your vehicle is a priority, they will sit it to the side until its in the way and then move it somewhere else. But they do excellent work and have fair prices for vehicles they can get in and out. Try them out

Vega Auto Service is hands down the best mechanic in Indiana. They have provided the best service, best timeframes, and best prices by a long shot. I have taken my vehicles to them for years and will continue to for everything they need. Antonio and his team are truly one of the best businesses in Indianapolis, and definitely the best auto shop. Was visiting a family member, needed an oil change, and Vega Auto was nearby and received a good rating. Two days later, while making 600+ mile trip back home noticed steam coming from under hood of car. Upon opening hood discovered that oil cap had not been put back on and oil was everywhere. Fortunately, cap was still in the engine compartment. Furthermore, noted that 10W-30 oil had been used and it should have been 5W-30. Needless to say had to go elsewhere to get oil changed again. Just glad the engine wasn't ruined (2023 car with 5300 miles on it). No excuse for such shoddy work!
