I went to three different game stores and Barnes and Noble to avoid coming here. Unfortunately, they were the only ones who had what I needed. They do not like people coming in? They act very inconvenienced over me asking questions or even buying anything.

The best board game store in Indy. Always updating their sale table with good deals. A large selection that isn't too spread out. Has free table space to game. And good for all types of gamers. Years of experience, just starting, large parties, 1 vs 1, heavy on theme, focusing only on strategies, etc. They have it all.

They put the FRIENDLY in Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS). Very helpful staff and amazing selection of games. The only place I will spend my money from now on.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I went in to by paints. Got to talking about airbrushing and problems I was having. Was given some tips and tricks by a staff member who airbrushes. Note: I don’t think they sell airbrushes, so this was personal knowledge and not an upsell! I am very impressed and appreciative.

Great game store. I purchased a model. I opened it and looked at it and then I realized that I had actually wanted to buy a set that it was in instead of the individual model. They let me do the exchange even though I had opened the box (I didn't actually touch anything other than looking at the sprue). I imagine they might not do this with some things though.

Anytime I'm in Indy, I make a point to drop by Game Preserve. They've always got games and supplies that I need in stock, and a place to play with my friends. The staff are always friendly and happy to recommend a game if you're not sure what you're looking for. Whether you've got a few minutes or a couple hours, it's worth stopping by!

Prices are comparable or more expensive than other stores in the area. Selection was great, but nothing I can't find elsewhere. The owners/employees were all sitting around talking about things that I wasn't really okay with discussing in front of my kids. The music being played was also not family friendly. Was barely greeted when we arrived. They seemed annoyed that we even came in. Definitely won't be coming back. There are far better options with more friendly staff and better prices elsewhere.
