I called to check on a product, they said they had it in stock. I drove from avon to pick it up only to find out it is the wrong item. Gave me an excused and said sorry. Poor customer service.

Ryan Mueller, by far, has given me the best customer service possible, in all the years I have been doing business with Guitar Center. He went over and beyond. I am going to call corporate in California and make sure they know about Ryan.

Selection was good but not quite what I had imagined. Service team was mostly friendly but wasn't as knowledgeable or as helpful as I'd've liked. Guitar had some cosmetic defects and was not offered discount and no replacements in stock. Came without papers (i.e. certificate, tuner/preamp instructions, etc), picks, straps, case or ANYTHING else. Even had to get my own battery for the built in tuner.

This is a nice music shop with a good verity of guitars to meet the need of players from beginners to professionals. Of course, there are other instruments for sale such keyboards and drum, etc...,but I happens to be a bass guitarist. Associates are usually friendly when I visit to look around and play the latest instruments. They have a good selection of strings as well other guitar accessories. Also, they have a good selection of bass amplifiers of which I'm in need of as I write this review. So I'll be paying them another visit soon.

I am really impressed with Grant. He is a fantastic salesman who has a positive attitude and an obvious passion for what he does. Today, I bought a PRS SE Paul’s Guitar from him, and last July, I bought a PRS Limited SE Angelus A50E Acoustic-Electric from him. Both times, Grant was very knowledgeable about the products. I highly recommend Grant at Greenwood Guitar Center!

Twice I have been in the store to purchase a keyboard and ca not get sales staff to spend time with me talking about the different keyboards. The guy standing next tow me today in the store said he was just happy if they answered one question. I asked if I could make an all appointment so I could actually talked to someone and was told they didn’t do that.. then was told to talk to one of the instructors who knows nothing about the pricing …

i bought online from them they described the item as an amp and it was really a speaker they were not going to tell me on the phone thats what angered me most they were goin to let me drive there to find out i may give them another chance someday

They're ok. Customer service is subpar and a they won't hesitate to let you know they're stressed/busy to the point they're pissed. To make matters worse I sold them a boutique pedal that was $130 and all they offered was $30 some dollars stating "thats about as high as i can go, sorry bud!". He was quite sly.I was very polite with him frankly so not sure why. Can't remember his name but he has blonde hair and glasses.
