Received a bombardment of messages, out of the blue, claiming that I violated the terms of the lease and that I was locked out of the facility with my RV still in the lot that I have rented for less than a month. They messaged me saying that I had 3 days to vacate the property which is way outside the industry standards.
When asked what I violated in the lease agreement I was met with a message warning me that they were going to contact law enforcement if I “trespassed”.
I was finally able to get my property out of that place after several attempts. Thank god! Feel fortunate that I was able to get my property back before they took any additional ridiculous and unnecessarily demeaning actions toward their always promptly paying, respectful lease-abiding and polite customer.
Impractical RV storage location with horrific customer service. I think storing your property here is at your very-own, very-high risk. ??????????
If you want hassle-free, accessible, practical long-term storage (especially Recreational Vehicles) I’d look somewhere else.

If I could have given this a zero star instead of a one star I would have. We rented at A Storage Place for (I believe) 5 years. At first we were excited to have found an indoor location for our RV for a decent price. We could not continue to rent there because of the verbally abusive manager who would come around and literally scream at my husband when he was getting something out or putting something into the storage unit. We own a business and stored things in the unit for the business along with our RV. The final straw happened when my husband was at the unit and loaded two items into his car. From there he was on his way to visit his elderly mother (a 2 hr drive away). He sat in his car for a couple of minutes and was searching for a pod cast to listen to on his trip when the extremely rude woman who manages the place pulled up and started screaming at him that "This is a drop and go place you can't sit here". This was not the first time she had been verbally abusive and rude but it was the last time. We immediately rented another unit somewhere else for 3 times the price and are happy to do so in order to deal with pleasant people.

My husband and I had an RV outdoor storage unit through these guys. The price was $58 which isn’t bad for outdoor storage for our size camper. However, we have been trying to contact them, even have call logs from our service provider. She emailed us claiming we never called or texted and all we wanted to know is how much we owe cause we have been overpaying sometimes since we forget the very first of the month with no reminders it’s due so we just overpay to make it easier. Now they are not refunding our security deposit claiming we made multiple violations which we were never aware we made any violations. Again, she never contacted us until this email. I will post pictures of us calling and the email she sent back. We left voicemails because nobody ever answered. $75 they will not refund is because they cannot communicate. I would highly not recommend doing business here. We are taking our services to BLC storage which is cheaper and the guy is super kind.

Guy who checked me in was nice and helpful. Place is well kept but the lady that answers the phone is useless and rude. She reminds me of the cat lady from kitchen nightmares. She actually comments on every post and thinks that if u weren't a customer of theirs then your rating and post shouldn't matter. "Hey lady, the people who rated YOU a 1 star was lucky not to be a customer of yours and give u money" the place is nice like I said but just avoid the ole bag that answers the phone and you will be ok.

If you're storing anything that requires an actual 12' door height as advertised, bring a tape measure. My RV is 11' 6". The door was 11'5". Maybe they have some that actually measure 12' clear--but not the 2 I was shown.

I left my original comment-less review or 4 out of 5 stars 3 years ago, but seeing how the owner just now made a comment, I figured I'd clarify that I was not "mad about paying a late fee"Honestly 4 out of 5 stars is not that bad imo.The main issue I had was that, at least at the time, they did not send out any kind of monthly invoice for billing, electronic or physical. The response I was told was "We don’t send invoices out as that keeps rates down and your rental agreement states it’s due the first day of each month". Ok, that's fine I guess but an annoyance none the less, can't see out at least an electronic bill would add that much to costs.Secondly, partially because of the above, I was late on payment. That's on me, I get that. So they added on their own lock to the storage unit. Still fine, that's standard practice for storage units. So I paid by pill in full via their website, including all fees on Thursday morning (9:39am) , and let them know the account was paid off by replying to the "Notice of Default" email they sent. I followed up on the next day (Friday @ 12:39pm) asking when the lock would be removed. Did not get a response until the following Monday that the lock had been removed and the reason for delay was "the lock was removed this morning as our office is not an operation over the weekend".All in all nothing too terrible about it, just a couple inconveniences, hence why I left the 4/5 star rating and not anything lower.Also just want to mention something else, not sure if things have changed since I haven't used them in three years. The unit itself was not exactly "top of the line". I knew exactly what I was getting into when I rented the unit as I saw it before hand, but if you are someone that is just browsing online, my "unit" was a sectioned off part of an old small plane hanger. Wall dividing the individual units did not go all the way to the ceiling (admittedly the walls were likely 10ft+ but nothing capping off the top of the unit), and locking the door was a loop of chain attached to the door jam going through a hole in the door. None of that is necessarily a bad thing or something I saw as not secure, just be aware of what you are getting at a low price point.

Worst experience ever! The lady that runs the place is rude and very difficult to deal with. We went to get in our unit one day. We had been locked out. Finally after telling her I needed a letter from her stating she did not receive the money even though it had her merchant number that I would be filing a complaint with Mastercard she magically found my money and stated it was my fault because my last name was different even though when paying I clearly said what unit number it was.Then a month later she said they were renovating and I had 10 days to move all of our contents in storage to another unit of hers. What a headache!! I have 5 kids and jobs 10 days is not much notice to complete all of that! Then when I asked her for a few extra days she kicked us out!! Good riddance!! I would gladly give the nice man down the road my money instead of you!! It was a horrible experience in more than one way!

I recently won a storage unit on an auction site through this storage facility, the staff (female) was extremely rude. She gave an extremely limited window for pickup, I called her back to ask if the unit was rentable (due to a U-haul not being available in the area) she then proceeded to become extremely distraught and hang up. Shortly after I received a call from the auction site saying that they canceled our auction and we were never aloud to bid on units that they had up for auction...because I asked her a simple question. Their staff lack simple communication skills to say the very least.

Beware they make up fees I don’t deny I was late my husband had Covid and I didn’t realize this was not on auto pay but the fees kept changing amounts and new ones adding up. Then after a year of using them I get charged a no lock fee and told I am supposed to have a lock—really a year into my agreement? Then we agree on a payment and right after hanging up get an email trespass notification with more fees—ridiculous! Not to mention the woman running the place is by far one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I could go on but will save the rest for the better business bureau complaint and the small claims court case. You cannot just make up things as you go along and ultimately on last day of month I paid all fees including the next months rent and was told I had to vacate immediately you might want to check the law you cannot collect the rent and then force to leave before the time you paid for is up. The courts frown on that type of usary behavior.

How is this place still in business? Avoid this place at all cost there are plenty of other storage places in Greenfield I would recommend using any other storage place this lady is beyond unprofessional
