I've stopped using Connie after getting audited for my 2013 taxes. I thought everything was fine and dandy until late 2015 when I got my first audit. Oh, and then I got audited for 2014 and 2012. All three years I've used Connie services, I have been audited. Over 12k I've owed the IRS! And now, the state is coming after me for the same years! Please stay away from using her services, unless you really want to pay the IRS and state more money. This is ridiculous of how many people have had this same issue, yet people still use her services. I will be looking into an attorney to fight this fraud.

I admit I was very irresponsible as a young adult, I did not file my taxes for 4 years prior to 2018. With that said I was a mess, but Connie helped me become current with everything, for THAT I'm very appreciative (reading these comments now though, make me skeptical about everything being filed honestly and legitimately). Anyways my bill for their services was around $960 give or take. Going in I told Connie I owed student loans and was afraid I wouldn't receive a return. Turns i was right, IRS took back what was theirs. no biggie. Connie OFFERED a payment plan to pay for the service SINCE THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH TAX RETURN TO COVER both student loans and Connie fees. I had absolutely no problem with that. I was just grateful Connie was able to help me. A couple of weeks after filing I spoke to one of the girls at the front desk telling her that I received letters from department of education stating that my tax return was offset. Meaning I wouldn't receive anything for my pocket book and Connies office wouldn't receive payment. The girl I was speaking to had me on hold while she looked through my files I'm assuming and after a few minutes came back on the line with "good news" she said one of the multiple returns I was supposed to get back actually came through and had actually been enough to cover Connie's fees about $900 plus dollars (can't remember the exact amount but FOR SURE REMEMBER only having a balance left over of $3-$4) i was very pleased and offered to pay the remaining balance over the phone, for whatever reason she couldn't take the payment over the phone. I said I would go in and just pay in person next time I was in town. She said YOU COULD ALWAYS JUST PAY LATER OR PAY THAT NEXT YEAR WHEN YOU COME BACK FOR YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. I took advantage of that figured what's $4 to them. I'll pay in 2019 when I file for 2018.... 2019 comes around Connie files my taxes and comes out with the "unpaid balance" for last years service of $800 and says only an amount of $160 came in through wtvr loan that didn't get devoured by the student loan debt. I told her that's not what your employee told me. How could this be!? Connie bad mouthed her employee saying she wasn't the best of employees (in my opinion was unprofessional) To then complimenting her minutes after probably realizing she's throwing her own people under the bus. At this point I told her it's not my fault the balance wasnt paid since I was lead to believe that it's been paid give. Connie said she has no idea where her employee saw this as paid or where she could've gotten this new balance. I told her in all fairness this wasn't my mistake & I still wanted a payment plan. I should basically be honored it since I was misinformed. I didn't even receive a phone call or letter from them regarding a left over balance. I know I'm partly at fault for not asking FOR A DOCUMENTED receipt. But to mock my ability to cough up $800 and not own up to her employees mistake was a huge red flag and unprofessional. Never been so upset doing business anywhere. After reading most reviews. This is the last time I do business here. I'll stick to H&R Block where the company can at least own up their mistakes.

Very unprofessional and lack of customer service, came to accompany a friend that was scheduled for 12pm once upon arrival she was told to leave her information and paper work to be looked at and to be back in 3 hours once back she still waited another 3 hours and hasn't even met Connie, being that we're not locals she should be more considerate of our time and have some manners, none of the workers offered water instead they sell waters and chips never again would I come here .... Terrible place Terrible business !!!!

It could be that this person does not have the necessary credentials to represent clients who are selected for audits. This might be the reason why they can only help put documents together when clients get audited and not offer them any audit representation services or guidance. Only CPAs, Attorneys, and Enrolled Agents have unlimited representation rights to assist you with federal/state audits, payments, collections and appeals. Always remember to verify the information reported on your tax return prior to signing. You are liable for what is reported on your forms. As a client, you have the right to request from the CPA/Enrolled Agent/Tax Preparer to explain every line item on your tax return before filing. Also, why wait 13 to 15 precious hours of your life for your tax returns to be prepared when there are so many reputable tax professionals out there? That is insane!
