Hosted a wedding at our house and the tent was rented through this company. The staff showed up way later than we anticipated the day of set up but more importantly when they took down the tent the following Monday, they stole a $180 cooler that we had left out by the tent. We called them and told them to bring it back shortly after they had left but they denied it taking it. The cooler was there before they came and gone when they left and no one else had been out there, as we live in the middle of nowhere and do not have any neighbors. Save yourself the time and trouble and rent from literally anyone else. It takes nothing to provide the service that you were paid to do without stealing from your customers but this company apparently can’t provide the bare minimum.Hi Deron! Thank you for your less than helpful response to this situation. I called your company one time and one time only and that was today before I left this review. This was a large wedding and I was not the one who rented the tent I am just the home owner and owner of the “high value cooler” in question. So if someone else stated they would be leaving a review, they have every right to do so, but that was in fact not myself. Also, as I already told you on the phone today, this wedding was on Saturday and I was outside and SAW the cooler Monday morning before your employees arrived, so no Deron, a wedding guest did not steal the cooler. I’m certain that your staff caught on to the fact that we were not going to let this go after we called and they ditched the cooler before you “checked the trucks”.As far as the “trash that was left” in the tent, I am aware of what was left in and around the tent or I wouldn’t go as far as to accuse your staff of theft unless I knew with certainty what all was out there. There were two trash bags left outside the tent and a stack of a few empty boxes left in the entrance of the tent that they may have had to move. Lastly, there were three coolers, two small cheap coolers and the large nice cooler that your staff took with them. Nothing requiring labor that would add up to anything close to the cooler that they stole. And based on your lack of customer service skills I have confidence that you wouldn’t have hesitated to charge us the extra fee if that was the case.Also, I can absolutely confirm that your staff did in fact accept the beer that we kindly offered them when they were setting up the tent, so that goes to show how honest they have been with you. I would recommend that in the future you do not speak with certainty about a situation that you were not apart of as though you know it to be fact. It reflects poorly on you and discredits the point you’re trying to makeIt’s not about the value of the cooler or the cooler itself, the review is simply to inform any of your potential customers that renting from your company could result in loss of belongings. Maybe you should spend a bit more time teaching your employees the value of morals when trying to run a successful company, rather than typing out petty responses to customers that your team stole from. Have the day you deserve Deron!

We booked 20 chairs and one table. They delivered and picked up on time. It worked perfect for us!

Helpful employees but funky equipment. The brush mower I rented could only be stopped by turning off the ignition. Definitely not a safe machine.\\n\\nedit: I wasn't offered a discount until I wrote this review. Beyond that, a $16 discount doesn't really cover renting out a dangerous machine.

Solid experience renting chairs, tables, chaffing dishes, and a high-top tent for our wedding. Communication was great in advance and during the setup. The crew setup and tore down everything with ease and with no complaints. Would use again for other events!

Rented a 20x20 tent for an event. Didn't come with side curtains. We didn't really need them. They were on time, at the price quoted, a quality tent and installation, took it down on time, no muss no fuss.I would rent from them again.

I have worked as an events intern in Bloomington for the past two months, and the event managers I work alongside dislike working with Master Rentals. Both of the times I have worked with them as event coordinator, Master Rentals was at least an hour late--they cited this being due to a busy schedule with lots of deliveries, but it's very frustrating to sit waiting for an hour past the time you were explicitly told for pick up, especially when the event starts shortly after delivery. We had to rush to put together a room before a client arrived. On one occasion, MR went to the wrong building, despite having done many drop-offs at the venue I work at before. The second time I worked with them, they were an hour late and left a huge order outside the building in front of the front door, blocking the ADA access ramp during hours when the venue was open to the public. The rental items themselves were dirty and some were ripped. We had to take an extra hour and a half after setting up to clean everything. For a personal event of mine, the table they brought me appeared to have burn marks all over it. Master Rentals provides services for all kinds of events in Bloomington, from prestigious occasions to small parties. I'm sure they are nice people, as I have never met anyone personally who works there--they drop off and leave quickly--but every time, they have never failed to stress me out. I would say to try Perfect Parties instead...I have not personally worked with them but they are the only other large rental company in Bloomington...but their Yelp reviews look bad too. I guess since these two companies have no competition in Bloomington they no longer feel the need to provide great service. Or perhaps they are overloaded with orders and understaffed...who knows.Regardless...in my experience, they will get you your rental items, but they will probably be late and the items will probably be dirty/slightly damaged.

Rented a 20x30 canopy tent over Memorial Day Weekend 2021. Equipment was as expected. My issue is I was told by Fawn at pick up that the Damage Waiver fee was not something you can opt out of. This is the kind of equipment I would have gladly taken the risk to not pay for this additional "peace of mind"......it's just an extra way for them to collect more money. It bothers me that I specifically asked if I could opt out and was told "no". 1-1/2 weeks later they finally call me and explain the only way I could have opted out was by providing a Certificate of Insurance which I could have done for free with my homeowners insurance. It's just another way for them to make more money and they don't really understand their own processes. On top of that, it's June 8th and they still don't have their rates updated for 2021 either! There are better options in town and I will use someone else next time.

I've been renting everything from stump grinders, to dump trailers, grinders, powerwashers ect. Always open always super fast and know how to run thier buisness. Thank you guys for everything!

Poor management, not enough employees. Had a large tent that needed put up that truly required more workers then what was sent. The owner Deron was not organized or well put together. He endangers his employees by not having enough people in his crew to safely do their work. They picked up my tent late. Had to use then in a pinch but would not use again.
