“Good place to get cheap stuff and some quality stuff cheap. The store is generally organized but sometimes hard to navigate with things sitting on aisle end caps. Usually only one person working but they are typically helpful if you need assistance.”
“Better stocked and cleaner than the Dollar General in south side of town. A bit too small but no big deal. Some of the workers not so friendly but then other ones are.”
“The best employees at any store ever! I love going in that store. All the employees are helpful and they like to joke around with me and my husband when we go in there. It's literally fun just to go grab toilet paper when I go to Benton dollar tree. The store is always well stocked and clean as a whistle. They don't have a freezer section though and that's blind of a bummer but it's not the end of the world.”

“Nice clean store. Shelves stocked pretty. Were a few that were empty, but to be expected. Last at the check out very nice. She was really trying to help a man that didn't have enough money to pay for everything after she rang it up. They were able to work it out.”
“Just like any other dollar general only thing that changes are the faces and the attitudes. Couldn't find an empty cart, the employees had stuff in them so I had to use a basket which limited my buying.”

“I don’t know if this store is under new management or what but it looks so much better than it did in the past. It’s less cluttered, things are in place and the staff takes the time to actually walk you to where an item is rather than pointing in some direction and saying it should be over there. I will only shop at this store and if I am not in the area of it, I will wait until I am in that area rather than stopping at any other one. Management…Keep doing what you’re doing because you have taken this store to an all new level! Kudos to you for a job well done! You deserve an award for having the best DG in southern Illinois.”
