This morning I signed into the online BMO web site as I do every day . Found that the site is not accessible until next Tuesday, the 5th. (Today is Saturday the 2nd) The lame excuse given was that BMO is migrating Bank of the West clients. This is 2023, and with most business on line , most companies put a bit more effort into this sort of change and keep thier on line presence accessible. It is unconscionable that you block access to my accounts and Zelle over a holiday week-end, especially since you blackmailed me into doing on line only business with you with penalty fees if I didn't do that. We do use Zelle, yet you unilaterally blocked use of this valuable tool without proper notice. This arrogant behavior has been characteristic of your management for many years. Time to take our business elsewhere. By the way, all attempts to reach a human was met with "sorry we are closed" messages.

Drive up was closed at 1200 on Saturday and wasn't open at 0840 when I first came. Change the info on yourweb site

I will be switching banks. I've has bmo for about 4 years now first 2 years were fine didn't have a problem but then after those years I've had nothing but problems using this bank. I just reported a scam that took money out of my bank they said they will do an investigation. They gave me my money back a week later but yesterday I was at the store buying some thing for my cold I have going on. my card declines... I look at my bank and the money that was giving to me for the scam last month. Bmo took it back yesterday mind way of buying groceries for myself leaving me negative in my bank. They did it right before they closed so by the time I realized they took it out, the bank was closed. So today rolls around waiting for bmo to open they've been open for 30 minutes now and I've called maybe 10 times now and nobody will answer my calls or return them. Not only that but every pay day I have to put money in my bank using the amt bc by the time I get out of work the bank is closed. Tell me why every single time I try using their atm is always down never in use... so that make me late on payments...I'm just over it at this point. I will be taking my business else where bc there is no reason why they should've taken the money back after investigating because I was scamed out of my money.

I can't believe this location has such low reviews. I have never had any major issues with this branch and the tellers are always friendly. Very clean and welcoming bank with a drive thru and ATM location. Because the bank is so close to the square, why not grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for reading.

Card was randomly closed and I had to come in and get a new one. Service was quick and Ivan Figueroa was super helpful and friendly. If I wasn't just visiting I would definitely come back again if I ever needed help.

This Hass to be the most disorganized bank I have ever experienced. We came in to add an authorized signer to a business account which took us over one hour to complete. The people were quite kind, apologetic, and pleasant to work with, but the amount of time that it took was outrageous. We appreciate BMO for having our account, but I really wish they were more organized and efficient.

On the bank’s website and the sign posted on the door, it listed that this branch was open until 1 on Saturdays. We arrived around 12:15 and waited in the vestibule because the doors were locked, but there were plenty of customers inside. We figured they might be at Covid capacity.Two tellers sat behind the counter and looked at us multiple times but did not come over to tell us if the bank was open or closed. Eventually, a banker walked some customers out and told us the bank was closed and we would have to come back another day. A very bizarre, confusing situation with unhelpful employees.

Honestly this bank has been with my family more over almost 20 years and now this new rule that happened Wednesday has majorly effect my day. 2 employees working up front while a line of 6 including myself all because of this new rule that customers have to actually walk in just to deposit a check, when they have errands to run.

BMO Harris is the WORST possible bank for any business. My business has several accounts with Harris and has been using them for many years. We are the type of customer that most banks would appreciate. In November 2016 I discovered an employee of my company had been forging checks, opening online small business loans, making his personal car payments out of the business account, on which he was NOT a signer. I had a personal banker I had worked with for some time. I began collecting the information regarding the forged checks, ACH debits, etc. Both he and the branch manager told me they would hold the paperwork until the McHenry County States Attorney decided to file charges. It took over one year for the States Attorney to investigate and take the case to the Grand Jury. The ex-employee was charged with 9 felonies regarding fraud, forgery and more. Once I was informed this person had been arrested, I brought all the felony charges to Harris. In the meantime, the personal banker and branch manager I had been using for a long time left Harris. I was concerned about all the paperwork and the file they had been holding until charges were filed. I was told not to worry, everything had been transferred to a new personal banker and everything would be ok. Well, it isn't ok. Several months ago I was informed BMO Harris would not follow through because an affidavit of forgery was not on file. I have no idea if I ever signed an affidavit of forgery or not. I signed whatever I was told to sign by the personal banker and branch manager. While transitioning employee's, BMO Harris appears to not have a complete file of all the paperwork I had previously submitted or completed with the original representative. I was asked to gather copies of what I had submitted so they could make sure they had everything. Needless to say, they didn't have everything. While transitioning files and personal bankers and the branch manager, not everything was kept in one place like it had been. I go to the Harris bi-weekly and have always asked for updates on what was happening with their investigation regarding all the money stolen from my business account. I basically hear the same response, "It has been turned over to the fraud department." No one supposedly knows anything. I asked to be able to speak to someone in the fraud department and was told that is not possible. I wanted to handle this issue the "professional" way and not have to involve courts or lawsuits. BMO Harris DOESN'T care though. I believe they are stringing me along until the statute of limitations is reached. Please tell everyone you know, especially business's, to NOT USE BMO HARRIS for your banking needs. They don't care, are understaffed and if employee's make an error you are out of luck. I am so disappointed in the lack of BMO's responses to me and the fact that they have made it so obvious they could care less.
