I think closing post office for lunch break is a bad idea.I think this is only the one post office who is doing that.Everyone has off at lunch so they would like to go to the post office

One of the staff stayed out during the start of her lunch break to help me cancel a package I had dropped in the drop box earlier that day. She had no obligation to help me but chose to anyways, incredibly incredibly nice and made my day.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing the staff member Eric is. He always greets me (and every other customer) with a smile, calmly explaining how everything works and suggests the best way to send something or to package an item. Blown away by his attention to detail + friendly attitude. Highly recommended!!

Resha is very rude. A man (unknown of name) who works there is very nice. The man always accepts packages, no problems, but Resha, no. She says a small flat rate box costs $10 WITH A PRE-PAID LABEL. The man always accepts it.

The staff and counter service at this post office is stellar! Since the pandemic, I’ve been exchanging letters and cards with friends instead of visiting in person, and I like going to buy more stamps and discovered that there are international/globs forever stamps! I look forward to my visits to mail the occasional package and pick up new stamps as my “outing.”The mail carriers in this post office’s delivery area is also the nicest people. They are diligent, take time to say hello, and make the neighborhood feel friendly.

I always get such friendly and efficient service at this location. It's a pleasure to mail things from here even when I have to wait in line for a few minute.

Extremely rude employee. Every single time I have to ship something out, if the machine is not working and I have to use help of this particular one gentleman, there is always something. September, Tuesday the 15th was no different.

I mailed a letter first class from the Winnetka Il USPS lobby kiosk 3 weeks ago to my sister's home in CIncinnati, where she has lived for 30 years, and she has yet to receive it! I thought it had tracking, but it did not. I have my return Winnetka address, but still have no idea of this letter's whereabouts. It contained a sentimental drawing that I fear my sister will never get. This is not the first time I;ve had problems here. Two years ago a package to my daughter at college in Urbana, IL never arrived. Another time my niece never received her check sent from here to Cincinnati. Often it takes 8+ days for my first class letters to get to Ohio. Really unacceptable. Seems the USPS is only accountable for anything it handles when you pay extra to get tracking or receipt verification. Disappointed. Will probably use UPS here on in.

Packages get lost here, watch them scan yours in and get a receipt. Don't put it in one of the mailboxes for packages...
