We stayed here for 5 nights to attend for my son’s Navy boot camp graduation. Ann at the front desk was very accommodating! Thank you Ann and to the rest of the staff for the great customer service! The hotel offered free breakfast and we enjoyed it; they maintained the cleanliness of the dining area. They also have free shuttle to take you to the graduation and back to the hotel. There are restaurants, fast foods and Walmart with only walking distance. Bowlero bowling alley is only few steps from the hotel. The hotel also has a nice pool and work out area, they maintained the cleanliness as well. My son really enjoyed using their workout area. We had queen suite, it’s nice and clean, we got good service from the house keepers. Our room was nice, clean and tidy every time we got back to hotel after our long day of sightseeing in Chicago. We had great time staying in this hotel! Highly recommended to those who are looking for a place to stay near Navy Training Command.Rooms: We had queen suite room. It was nice and clean. The housekeeping maintained the cleanliness of our room. We felt warm and cozy in our room as we stayed their on November so it’s chilly outside.Nearby activities: Bowlero bowling alley is only few steps from the hotel, we had so fun there that we stayed playing until they closed and just walked back to the hotel.Safety: It was nice and quiet. We felt safe during our stay. We only see guests and their staff who comes and goes from the hotel. They have quite enough area for their parking space. We didn’t rent a car but if you do, in my opinion, rest assured that the rental car would be safe too. There’s a lot of empty spaces in their parking lot as most of the people are taking Uber and Taxi.Walkability: There are fast foods, restaurants, and stores like Walmart with only walking distance.Food & drinks: They have free breakfast and we enjoyed it! They have good and nutritious food to select from.Noteworthy details: Great customer service!

Stayed here for 2 days to attend a Navy bootcamp graduation. Customer service was excellent. Front desk staff were very friendly and DA was extremely professional and helpful. He made my wife and I feel so welcomed. The room was clean and modern. I particularly loved the long desk. Bed was soft and comfortable and plenty of decent channels to flick through. Accessibility to stores and restaurants was plentiful.

Booked a room for the week. I'm on day number 4 and my room has yet to be serviced despite informing the front desk of this and requesting someone to at the very least bring towels and empty the trash.

Our stay was relaxing and comfortable at this hotel. We requested early check in and our room was ready before we arrived which was great and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Hotel looks newer with modern touches. Our 1 bedroom suite was very spacious and clean. There was a door between the two beds which provided more privacy and there were two TV’s for convenience. Comfortable beds, nice toiletries in the bathroom as well. The room had a nice size fridge, a microwave, coffee maker and a kitchen sink. The location is very convenient because there’s lots of stores and restaurants nearby. There’s a Mcdonald’s, Bowlero and Aldi within walking distance to the hotel. We’ll definitely stay here again!Rooms: Beautiful and comfortable roomsWalkability: McDonald’s, Bowlero, and Aldi are within walking distance.Food & drinks: Breakfast was ok but there were a variety of items

Check in was quick and easy. Forth floor room, which was nice. I didn't find any issues with the room. Beds were nice, more than enough room. I heard nothing overnight. IMO, you can't beat biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Only complaint there was the lack of cold water, as my daughter doesn't like coffee/juices.

While the location is great to go to Six Flags Great America down the road, this hotel is over priced for how it is upheld. The lobby and breakfast area look great, but the elevator is shabby, the room had so many cracks in the walls, no shelves in the fridge, lights that did not work and a sink with razor shaving in it....if it wouldn't have been for us staying one night I would have gotten a different room. The staff here is terrible. No true customer service. I have been to a lot of hotels in our travels and not once have I seen a tip jar at the free breakfast......just very displeasing. Any staff you said hi to or smiled at ignored you or just looked at you and kept walking. The vibe here us just not good. There is no hospitality. Maintenence guy almost backed into me with him and his cart and when he noticed he mumbled something and just walked off. Went to check out and front desk guy snatched our stuff from the lady at the desk who was trying to assist us. Stating "ill do it over here". You could tell she was uncomfortable. Plus the price you pay for such a low maintained property is criminal.

Went with my family and found this is the worst hotel stay ever we had in years. We checked in at 7 PM and found no body wash gel to take shower. Informed front desk and no one came even after one hour. Then i again called to be told the previous shift changed so she is alone so i need to come down to pick up....and when i went all i got was a tiny size soap they keep for wash basin hand wash....so my family had to manage shower with this. Then we found out the TV will not shut down....again called front desk and was told technical guy coming in at 9 PM. But no one came and we had to sleep with TV on whole night with volume muted. Then next morning i went to use the common Computer and it was not working, i told the front desk person and he disagreed. When i told the screen itself is blank the guy just replied casually 'i cant see it from here'. I immediately decided to checkout !!Rooms: Not great, the bathroom door was hard to close. TV will not switch off, no bath shower gel etc

Would have given this hotel 5 stars, but there is clear damage that needs to be fixed. Cracks in walls, ripped curtains, and sink were being held up by nails. Other than the clear damages that haven't been addressed, the pool, service, and amenities provided were great. Would like to visit again.

Breakfast included a full buffet with biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, omelets, yogurts…just to name a few. ☺️ the room was clean and the staff were friendly from check in, housekeeping, and on comings and goings. Hot coffee/tea/coca available all hours and for self serve. ? I’ll be back ?

No service fir the entire 6 day stay. Requested towels and batteries for remote. Never received them. Wouldn't stay there again. Almost $1100 and not worth the stay.

Upon arrival, there were kids running around the property. Trash all over the parking lot. Only one person was working the reception desk with a line of people waiting to be helped. Patrick was really nice and apologized for the wait when he greeted us by the time we made it to the desk. When we finally made it to our room, there were ants all over the floor coming from the bathroom to the mini fridge. When going back to the front desk, Patrick apologized again for the inconvenience and gave us a choice to try another room or get our money back. We went ahead and asked to check another room.We get to the elevator, and there is a horrible smell like sewer. Then the other room had a dead bug in the pillow case of one of the pillows on the bed, and their were bugs crawling on the AC unit.We went back to the desk, and Patrick gave his deepest apologies and told us he would refund us. I had to wait for him to finish helping the guest check in. Then he had to call a coworker to walk him through canceling our stay. However the person didn't know how to do it to refund our money so we had to leave with a note signed that we would be refunded by the night auditor and we could call the manager the next morning to make sure it's been taken care of.I'm not faulting Patrick in any way. I'm faulting management for leaving only one person working that is still in training and the fact that the hotel had multiple rooms with bug issues. There was another guest that changed rooms because of the ants as well.Rooms: Ants and bugs were in the rooms.

We tend to use IHG for our stays and this worked out perfect for our needs. We were here to attend our daughters Navy graduation. They are situated perfectly and within 10 minutes or so from the base. They do offer a shuttle to the graduation but the driver was a little on the crazy driver side and was driving much faster than he should've as well as was on his cell phone most of our 2 trips to and from the base. We had a double Queen suite on the 4th floor and it was HUGE. Beds were ok but they were a medium firmness. Neither too hard or too soft so it was ok for us. We stayed 4 nights and we had to constantly ask for new towels from the cleaning crew & we actually ended up stacking all the linens in a closet that was behind the door. There's several places to eat around the hotel and within walking distance. The cost for us to stay was around the $700 price range.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 5 nights for a Navy boot camp graduation visit. The hotel is very close to the base.Everyone at the hotel seemed to do an outstanding job. We were very impressed with the job and pleasantness of everyone there.Everything was clean and in good repair. The breakfast was also very good every day.The only odd thing to me was that Saturday morning the breakfast was out and ready to go a few minutes early. That is is a good thing I thought. However the young man that was setting it up would not let anyone setting there waiting touch it until exactly 7am, not 6:56, it was not allowed until 7. St exactly 7 he announced breakfast was open. Seemed over the to top. If all the stuff isn't out until the official breakfast time then so be it, no one could complain. But to have it out and make people sit and wait makes no sense. Not sure what directions management had given the young man, he may have been spot on, I don't know.We will stay there again. During the week a lady by the name of Tonia C did a great job with breakfast and also lunch on Friday which was enjoyed by many there. At the front desk Angela, Elizabeth spent a while with restuarant suggestions and for that we were grateful. Tyrone also were very helpful, simply lightened our day. There were two other ladies there that I did not get their names but were also very helpful with information. All the staff including cleaning as well as maintenance seemed very professional. Definetly will stay here again.W

Very quiet and clean hotel with an exceptional and courteous staff. Both gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful with accommodating my guest and I with extra towels and sundries. We were assisted with the utmost professionalism during our stay. I commend upper management for hiring and retaining friendly and personable service reps and night supervisors. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive demeanor from everyone I encountered including the cheerful kitchen staff at 6am for complimentary breakfast. I experienced A+ hospitality. For this, my stay was OUTSTANDING! I'll definitely book with this hotel in the future and hope to receive equally amazing service during my next visit. Keep up the good work!
