The hospital bed stopped working and I called DV jahn and left messages on 02-01-23, 02-03-23, 02-09-23. Finally on 02-10-23 when I called I got the same voicemail but this time I pushed the prompt for billing and spoke to Korrine at 12:13pm who told me she was working from home. I could clearly hear a baby crying in the background. Korrine told me she did not know why my many message were not returned about my non-working hospital bed. Korrine told me the office is not always staffed but usually return voicemails. Is it not medicare policy that providers have a brick building and normal business hours to service the products they bill medicare for? Afterall it has been over TEN DAYS that DV Jahns hospital bed has not been working and they NEVER called me back.

DV Jahn has extremely poor customer service. Actually NON-existent customer service! My Dr. John ordered 1 hospital bed variable height claim #22094****** from provider DV Jahn. 847-573-1908. The hospital bed stopped working and I called the provider and left messages on 02-01-23, 02-03-23, 02-09-23. After all it has been over TEN DAYS that DV Jahns hospital bed has not been working and they NEVER called me back.

I wished I could give 0 stars. Warning: they have supplier contracts with local area IL hospitals and will sell you medical equipment via these hospitals, cheap medical equipment for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The quality of the equipment does not match the price and you can purchase cheaper medical supplies that are better quality online. The way their scam works: a hospital employee, in our case a hospital physical therapist, will push DV Jahn equipment down your throat in your worst moment, shortly after surgery. They will make it sound like you will not survive without the equipment and might even tell you that your insurance will definitely cover the device. Then they'll just put a DV Jahn invoice in the midst of all types of hospital paperwork and get you to sign for it while you are still on who knows on how many meds and barely off anesthesia and can barely think straight. Let alone think about insurance and what is covered or not by it! Next thing you know you are being released from the hospital with a cane or walker, but little do you know that DV Jahn will be harassing you with bills months later for the device because they are actually not covered by your insurance. When calling their billing office it seems like there's only one employee who has a very heavy Eastern European accent. When asking her for a reference or confirmation number she will not be able to give you one because this company is so small that she's writing manual notes for each account record. She is rude and they will start adding on late fees and will continue to send you bills even when you and your insurance call them to let them know that you have filed for an appeal with the insurance company and that they should put your account on hold. They do not understand this process nor what it means and will continue to send you bills regardless. At the end of the day you will have to pay up or pay a remaining balance the insurance didn't end up covering. All I have to say beware of this company as they are in the business of taking advantage of people who need medical equipment!

I just received an invoice from this company and I have no clue what they are charging my deceased Mother for. There are 2 charges for 2 different months...$170.00 in February of 2018 and $170.00 in March of 2018. I can't believe this is even a legitimate company...who waits 16 months to bill someone?!! When I call the number provided all operators are "busy". Sounds like a SCAM to me!

I brought my Dad's rollator in to DV Jahn, Waukegan, IL on 5-20-19 for a new wheel. It was under warranty. I called Kirsten on 5-28-19. Kirsten told me the wheel was on backorder and she did not know when it would be in stock. I asked her for a loaner. Kirsten told me her supervisor said I should buy a new rollator from them. My Dad is 87 years old and needs his rollator.

In the transition to hospice, we needed to switch out DV jahn's equipment with a new DME provider. DV Jahn's dispatch system is such that the schedule is set once a day. Once the drivers are sent out for the day, there's no option to add or subtract from a driver's list. When it comes to medical equipment for elderly and dying people, this company demonstrates no compassion, judgment or flexibility. They were unwilling and/or unable to pick up their bed so the hospice could replace it with their bed. For 5 days. Even after I explained that moving my father would be difficult given his rapidly worsening condition. Their suction equipment failed but no one would come out to service or replace it for a full day and evening. Even after I explained that my father needed the suction so he would not choke on his secretions.

My LO, my mother, and I, her daughter and her primary caregiver, receive an invoice from DVJahn, Inc in Illinois, but whose "BILLING " office is a PO BOX address in Oaks,PA.!! Now to start off, NO I am not a rocket scientist, but...... my invoice is for $12.85 gives me a "date of service ", "invoice #, AND has a $15.00 ( LATE FEE!!) - which is more than my disabled mothers invoice! Then, above the "billing address "- instructions read--- "PAYMENTS NOT ACCEPTED at this address "( this is the address who just sent my LO this BILL!!)- So first of all my mother has numerous serious medical issues and depends on her wheelchair, walker, breathing systems, handicapped bars, toilet rails, chair lift assist, and other home devices. If this is a company that delivers medical items such as any of these, I have NO DAMN CLUE what, why, when, who, ..........., all I can tell by this companies invoice is a SCAM to take advantage of our LO medical situations and financial hardships. They send this crap invoice ( no information or product name) expect it to be paid without any detailed information, adding an additional "late fee " which happens to be greater than the total invoice itself, and you can not mail it to the "billing office ", but send a payment to them in a different state, to no ones name or attention , and hope you don't receive another one???? Not this disappointed daughter!!!

They are trying to collect for crutches dispensed 14 months ago. My insurance has paid and I made all copays. Small amount supposedly left over but it's the principle, you don't start sending out bills 14 months later

I think this is the company that provided my wheelchair. My invoice is for D.V. Jahn at 881 S. Northpoint Blvd in Waukegan. The delivery man dropped off my wheel chair while I was lying in bed in a full leg brace. He was in a rush. I had to remove the shrink wrap from the wheels and arms. I had to get a cushion out of a cardboard box and fasten the straps. A second cushion came in a bag and I had to fasten this. All this from my bed! I was given no instruction about using the wheelchair. I called to report this. The person on the phone kept defending all this, with his logic being that some customers refuse the cushions. He repeated this, and did not address the issue of the shrinkwrap, nor why the staff member could not have installed the cushions. This explained why the driver chose to act as he did.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Requested medical equipment to arrive in the morning since the caregiver would be there then. They called the next day and said medical equipment would arrive between 1 and 3 pm (very inconvenient). We called at 2 pm to verify that they would be there by 3 and they assured us the driver would be there BEFORE 3 pm. Phone call after 3 finds the driver won't answer his phone and the company assumes he's at a prior stop. No delivery today.
