I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Greentech, especially with their mechanic, Mike. I initially thought I needed a costly hybrid battery replacement, but Mike’s honesty and expertise saved me thousands of dollars. Instead of rushing to replace the battery, he thoroughly examined my car, ran tests, and discovered that the issue wasn’t battery-related at all.
Mike found that oil had gotten into the air intake, preventing the car from functioning properly. He showed me the air filter, where there was quite a bit of oil, and explained how this was causing the problem. He didn’t just tell me; he took the time to show me the issue and walk me through it with complete transparency. Mike then went above and beyond by cleaning up the oil, reconnecting the battery, resetting the errors, and taking the car for a test drive to make sure everything was running smoothly.
This level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism is rare to find in the auto repair world. Greentech and Mike didn’t just treat me as a customer; they treated me with respect and care. Getting the hybrid battery changed at Greentec was simple and straightforward as well as shorter than expected. They were done very quickly and the car has been functioning normally since. A great experience.

The technician Bruce was very friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The battery replacement was under an hour and at one month and counting my car is driving great. I would definitely recommend Greentec. Thanks Bruce!

I had an excellent experience at Greentec Auto when they replaced the hybrid battery on my Toyota Prius. Absolutely phenomenal! So easy to work with. The price is right especially for driving 5 hours to me with their mobile service! My local dealership wanted double the price just for battery without installing and only a year warranty. And they’re lucky to have the young man Nathan working for them. Bruce and team were incredible through the whole process. I had a battery failure on my 2015 Highlander Hybrid with 126k miles. The Toyota dealer in Westmont quoted me over $9000 to replace the battery. I searched for "after market hybrid battery repair" and these were the only guys that came up in Chicagoland.
A new battery with a 3yr warranty, installed at my house (in my driveway) was $3644.50 all in.
Bruce called multiple times throughout the week to provide updates on the shipping status of the battery, and they squeezed me in before our family roadtrip planned the upcoming weekend. They even performed a thorough inspection when disassembling the dead battery before proceeding with the new installation. Took them about 3 hrs, and left no trace behind. These guys are legit.
Couldn't be happier with the price, customer service, and communication. They saved our roadtrip too! Thanks guys!
