I decided to go to the Glenview Home Depot so I could see the Refrigerator and Dishwasher. He spent much time with me explaining and answering my questions. “Tom at the Lake Zurich Rental center really helped me out. I was planning on renting a sewer rodding machine because my shower was backing up. After listening to my issue tom suggested the issue was in my septic field. Turns out I took the cover off and the tank was totally full. Tom chose to help me solve my problem over the phone instead of just trying to rent me a piece of equipment. I will think of this rental department whenever I need another tool to rent. “This is the store I usually go to for garden supplies. The store is always clean and well organized, with friendly associates. I had great experience at the store today when picking up 8 bags of garden soil by myself. The store associate Umar generously helped me haul the loaded cart to my car and loaded all of them into my trunk. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the neighborhood.”

“Only reason why I give Home Depot 4/5 Stars is due to their unwillingness (on a corporate level) to accept NFC Payments (Apple Pay, etc.).
For the record… at this point, ALL three of Home Depot’s direct big-box competitors; Lowe’s, Menards, and Ace Hardware; accept Apple Pay. HD is one of the few-remaining retail companies who continue to take this stubborn stance.
I know this is a corporate issue, but it’s still a bit ridiculous that there are places where I can’t pay with my digital wallet in 2024.
Otherwise, great selection, clean store, and friendly service. The usual to be expected at HD. ?”
