Do you want to deal with rude staff and an overpriced bowling lane that you spend more of your time resetting? Look no further than Centennial Lanes! After our game, we told staff that the lane was having issues, all we got in return was a thumbs up and him blaming us for not telling him earlier. The whole time he was watching us having issues. We couldn't finish three games in two hours because we had to reset the machine every other turn in the 2nd game.Go to Tinley Bowl instead of here. The staff there are way more kind and the lanes actually work.

ABSOLUTE TRASH!! THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN! If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve come to this establishment for many, many years. I come with a group of 10-20 every time. We book in advance, we buy food, and spend TONS in the bar.. I have been here 2x since it has been under new ownership and I can say I will never be back. From the moment you walk in, (no one wears a name tag for the sake of their attitudes) the front desk lady with the salt and pepper Afro was so rude, laughed at us when we were trying to figure out shoe sizes, and rolled her eyes at us every chance she got. We brush that off and decide to get to our 3 lanes we booked. 2 of them would not reset the pins. We called for help and went to front desk multiple times just for them to say “ok give us a minute” at this point, our 2 hour lane rental is now at 1 hour and 32 minutes. The front desk lady refused to reset our time. Ok, whatever. We go to bar to gather drinks/pitchers for the group.. we walk in about 8 people deep. The bartender served 3 individuals that walked in after us before even approaching our group. I begin to order drinks and she would stop making my order to tend to her friends that would call her. I told her I wasn’t finished with my order and she said “I don’t take orders from people like you!” In a loud and disrespectful tone. I continue to wait and she decides to get “someone else to take my order because she didn’t like my tone” when I said I wasn’t done ordering.. she continued to serve others before she approached me and asked “well what else do you want!” On top of many other nasty and ignorant things I can’t say in a Google review that were said on her behalf.. I ordered the remaining drink order and closed out. As we gathered the rest of our drinks she told another patron at the bar “if they come back in here they will wait even longer”.. safe to say she would have made a killing off of us in tips but we gladly left her a tip of $0.00. I couldn’t believe how rude the entire staff was and how disrespected we felt from the moment we walked in for NO APPARENT REASON. Will never step foot in this establishment again, thank god there are better bowling alleys we will gladly spend our money at!

This place has gone down hill tried to go bowling with a friend on his birthday and the lady at the front counter was rude. After she waddled over to us she’s says we ain’t got no room when about 80 percent of the bowling alley was empty. Only went here because of oak forest bowl burning down and won’t go back. I advise everyone to go somewhere else

My friends and I enjoy bowling, but this place isn't a good place to enjoy a nice night of bowling. For starters, the music at night is WAY too loud. Second, there are people there that don't follow bowling etiquette. I had a 2 hour reservation for me and my friends, while the people next to us rolled 3 balls back to back, which caused a pin to jam the ball return. Which made everyone wait for almost 30 minutes for maintenance to unjam everything. It's a shame Oak Forrest Bowl burned down, because they had a way of keeping your bowling experience great! If you want to actually bowl and have a good time, you're better off paying $10 per game at Tinley Bowl.

We were having a good time until the 2 ladies at the counter started to get really disrespectful towards our last 10 minutes. They were saying how we were bowling 2 balls down one lane when in reality we were bowling in 5 and 6 the WHOLE NIGHT and absolutely no one told us and it wasn’t on your website LOOK AT THE CAMERAS. THE DISRESPECT THAT CAME FROM THEM WAS ATROCIOUS.

I've been to Centennial Lanes about a year or so ago and had a great time. I tried to reserve two lanes for a group 8 people over the age of 21+ at 11:15PM. The website had notified that everybody in my party had to be 30+ years old! I called in to confirm this wasn't a website error, and was told the rule was put into place by the owner in order to keep out the "Riff-Raff". I don't understand the logic behind this discrimination rule, purposely denying paying customers.

Never coming back. Customer service was terrible. The lanes are booked by hour. The lane we were bowling on got stuck, and costed us at least 5 minutes of bowling time. We went up to the front desk and they got it fixed. We asked them to add a 5 minutes to make up for the time we lost. They said they added 2 minutes. I had another member in my group standing at my lane. They didn’t add any time. We told them, they claimed that they did and proceeded to lecture me who’s politely letting them know. In quite a rude way, they directly told us no. We called them after we left. They said that they did add time, called me a liar to my face, and then claimed that they in fact added 10 minutes. We asked to speak to a manager, said no. We asked who the owner was. The lady claims that she was the owner. To sum it all up, they lied to us, yelled at us, called us liars, and did not care a single bit about us as customers. I’m ashamed I put my money into this place.EditThe managers said they hoped they could have another chance to earn our business, so I gave them another opportunity. This time was even more frustrating. The lane was continually out of sync. We would reset and start over. Going slowly even though that was costing us precious time (because we only have an hour).Would happen again. Then when I am about to bowl my high score going into the 10th frame it screws up and goes right to the next game. Can’t get back to a previous game. So much for my best game ever. Thank you Centennial Lanes 2.0 for yet another bad experience and customer service that was non existent. I’d rather go to a bowling alley having to bowl uphill and blindfolded than deal with this place again.

WORST BOWLING ALLEY EVER. Staff was very racist, wouldn’t even listen to understand where we were coming from when saying the lane was broken. Waste of money and time. Very very ignorant staff workers. Customer service was a 0/10. DO NOT GO HERE!!! White middle aged man even admitted to us he was racist.

our lane was constantly malfunctioning…ruined our fun and didn’t wanna keep bothering the staff (who happened to be very rude) to reset our pins. the buttons regarding resetting/the reset button itself didn’t work, so asking them to do it manually was our only option. when asked if we could extend our time due to the constant inconveniences, we were treated with disrespect and they seemed to try to find any reason to not let us extend our time. a refund would’ve been preferred. glad I have better bowling alleys to spend my money on.

Terrible experience, faulty equipment that wouldn’t reset and the owner/manager got upset because our game was taking too long and we had to keep asking him to reset the lane. 6 frames into the game said person ended game and wouldn’t let our party finish. Miserable person shouldn’t be allowed to work in entertainment. Waste of money. Luckily there’s more than one bowling alley in the area.

Had my daughters party here and reserved 6 lanes for 2 hours for my guest. Staff was very rude with an attitude and not accommodating at all. Any simple question got answered rudely and with an attitude. I asked if I could get a jump and enter the names on the lanes a few minutes early since I had 6 lanes and knew it would take some time. I was rudely told no and would not be able to do so until my 2 hours started. As my 2 hours began, I was told the bumpers on 3 of 6 lanes given to me were not working, this is not ideal for a kids party and then I had to reassign the players on each lane due to the bumpers not working. After our party began, we asked what time the Pizza and Pop would be out, we were met with an attitude and told 5:45. When we asked if we could get the pitchers of pop now since our guest had started bowling we were rudely told everything comes out at 5:45. For the amount of money paid, you'd think the staff would be more accommodating to a large party and treat guests kindly and with respect. Definitely will not be having another party here, not due to the malfunction of lanes, but because of the customer service and way I was spoken to by the staff.

Horrible Customer Service. The woman at the front desk was very snobby and just plain rude to us. This was our first time here so of course we don’t know the regulations of the place. We asked questions because different establishments have different rules. We asked for help to add players and it took them forever to put them in which took away from our time. We called in advance to make sure our party was sat next to each other, but when we got there she would not accommodate us although I could see each of our reservations stacked on top of one another together. We decided as a collective we will never return to this bowling alley nor recommend it to anyone. Mainly because of the lack of customer service.

Worst place ever. No one followed up with me after making my reservation, no one attended the table, had to keep ordering food my self, and the kicker how can you charge so much and not even give the little birthday girl a pin? Every other bowling alley charges less gives more and gives the birthday kid a pin. Worst place I don't recommend. Palos lanes is so much better

I see what other people mean by having some technical issues with their lane. We had a few glitches, but it wasn't so delayed that it disrupted our time to play. It was 3 of us, so we were able to finish two games just in time. It was pretty empty for a Friday afternoon. We went around 3 pm. Only one other group was there, and one guy practicing. Price wise, it seems like they have the best deal compared to other places if you come before five. It does get a bit pricey in the evening, but that seems to be the standard for all the alleys in the area.
