Purchased a 2 year warranty on a well pump, it broke, I called up there they said no problem bring it in for an exchange, then it was on a banned return list or something. I will never buy a warranty here again. And the website isn’t taking the warranty at all. Called 6 times and have waited hours on the phone for $180
Never again will i purchase anything with a motor on it here again. They just lost someone that literally will spend thousands with them. Menards is the only way to go.

I do most of my shopping in the app and then go to the local store to basically pick things up. I don't have to engage with the staff all that often, so I can't speak too much on how helpful they are. However, every interaction I HAVE had with them has been pleasant.As for the store itself, it's brand new so it's still pretty clean. Hasn't really had a chance to be a mess yet lol.They have always had the things in stock when the app says its in stock.I've never had much access to a HF until this store opened, but I always wondered (and still do) how they sell stuff so cheap? I always assumed everything was just really cheap junk. This, I have since learned, is not always the case. I have actually been impressed with the quality of many items I have gotten from there. No its not "top tier" but it's always been good enough for my purposes.As a for instance, I needed a hammer drill for something I was doing, but didn't want to spend the money on a DeWalt one (to fit my existing platform) since I wasn't sure if I'd ever really use it again. The one I got did exactly what I needed it to do and I have since used it for other things I didn't realize I could. It's done everything I've asked it to do at 1/3 of the cost.Anyway, HF may not sell "the best" of anything. But everything the do have is serviceable and works well enough for most average people who aren't running construction companies or something.
