We have used Murphy Family Movers twice now and both times for intra-state moves. Jack’s estimating process is transparent and honest, and that goes for how he conducts business overall. This most recent time involved Daryn, Chris, and Peggy, and it was a great experience overall.

professional, efficient and very friendly. They wrapped items meticulously, demonstrated care in the handling of furniture as well as fragile items and made sure that everything was placed exactly where and how we wanted it. Thank you for making our move so painless!

We were scheduled with another. Company that ghosted us. We were in a panic, then Murphy Family Movers came to our rescue at last minute on a very busy Friday for them. The gentlemen were above amazing. They were efficient and very fast. We will never us another company. Thank you for an exceptional job.

Dimitri and his crew were awesome. They handled everything. I was nervous about my move because I am recently disabled and confined to a mobility scooter. Moving day was perfect!!

We used Murphy Family Movers to move our family into a new construction home. The crew was amazing! They were quick moving, wrapped everything, and were super nice. They even helped throw some loose items into boxes at the end. They were super careful moving all the stuff into the new house- not one item broken, not one scuff on a wall. Highly Recommend!

Wonderful company to work with. Made a stressful move a positive experience. Incredibly professional crew - nothing damaged, stairwells and flooring covered so they weren't nicked, and really know their stuff. Will be using again! Highly, highly recommend.

Darren and Peter and the whole staff at Murphy Family Movers were AMAZING. Darren and Peter showed up even before their ETA and got to work immediately. They were so helpful, quick and efficient. they came prepared with extra boxes, moving cloths for fragile items, tools to disassemble and reassemble they had it all. I isn't know what to do because they had everything handled haha. When they got me moved out of my place they also helped me decide on where I wanted my furniture in my new place. They were meticulous and made sure everything was just the way I needed/wanted before leaving both locations.
Not only all of that but there was a small mix up with payment at the end and they were SO QUICK to adjust it and make everything right. Literally not even 5 min after the movers left Jack had everything straightened out via payment and I'm very VERY happy with my experience with MFM. Their pricing was also broken down so easy to understand and they were very straightforward from the jump - so worth it. Will definitely be using them in the future!

We used Murphy Family Movers recently for a move from Brookfield, to Campton Hills. Daryn lead an amazing team, through a difficult 11 hour move, in freezing rain conditions. They protected the floors, stairs, rails, everything. We had many heavy objects, and a some delicate pieces. All were handled expertly. They fit way more than I expected in the trucks. They really are tetris experts.
Everything was delivered safely, and without issue, during very inclement weather. I cannot speak highly enough of the crew on this move... I would recommend Murphy Family movers to anyone who needs a stress free, professional move.

We hired this company for a LARGE move. The first person we talked to named Jack was very friendly and professional. On the day of the move we had Manny Jose and Darren assigned to us. All three were hard workers. They had ZERO breakage and absolutely no dents or scratches to any drywall or furniture. They worked at a very honest rate and were very helpful. Highly recommend this company.
