“Can’t say enough good about this place. I bought something that didn’t end up working properly, called them and brought it back. The thing I was buying wasn’t significant, I think it was about $20. The owner seemed genuinely upset that he sold me something that didn’t work (it happens. I wasn’t mad at all) a refund was issued immediately along with his sincerest apologies. He was equally as apologetic they didn’t have another one in stock to replace it with. Once again, it was a small purchase, I didn’t mind at all. I’ve been in here a decent amount buying discs and have always gotten the best and most respectful service from both the owner and staff alike. If you need anything sports related, talk to the DAWG!”

“We were in Springfield for a competition and heard about Scheels. We were told it was like a bass pro on steroids and they weren't kidding! They carry everything! Hunting, fishing, camping stuff. Alll kinds of brands of clothes! North face, Nike, Columbia.... It goes on and on. Oh and a Ferris wheel and candy store! And a cafe with wraps and fudge and such. This really could be a one stop Shopping event!”

“If I walk into a store and tell the sales clerk I just want to look around, I just want to look around. Usually my ugly, mean mug gets left alone. Yet, each time I have gone into CHAMPS in the mall, just wanting to look around (& most likely price match), I told them I was just looking, and found myself getting into a pleasant conversation about nothing in particular and walk out after buying SOMETHING. I believe the gentleman I spoke to on my last visit was the Manager, and he was a great guy. A customer service pro, and dealing with his staff on more than a couple of occasions, he is training them well. I hope the store is doing well & his regional manager appreciates the work they all do. (I am NOT a friend/relative of anyone at the store).
