I’ve recently been shopping to furnish a new room addition to my home. Not being a strong interior designer myself, I was seeking some assistance. I walked into the Springfield, IL La-Z-Boy store, and was met by salesperson Jada (Jay). After a few minutes of dialogue with her, she IMMEDIATELY began pulling fabrics and suggesting pieces for this room addition. I was (and still am) amazed at how she could automatically visualize this room and what I had in mind for it! I fell in love with her ideas and thoughts for the things I could do with the room! After spending well over an hour with me, she further told me about the free design service that La-Z-Boy offers, where an expert will come to your home and talk to you about pieces, colors, arrangements, etc. while standing in the room or rooms you are trying to fill. I was interested, so we set up an appointment for Justin to come visit my new room addition.
The interior designer, Justin Hamm, came to my house and offered ideas on colors, pieces, and arrangement in my new room. He took his time and was at my house a couple of hours. He then set up a consultation appointment back in the Springfield store to show me all of his ideas for my room. I was amazed at how he took my space and made it look like it was out of a magazine! It was such a personalized experience! He offered print-outs of his ideas, as well as a screen projection of them. It was an exciting experience! Justin is VERY knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He is excellent!!
The La-Z-Boy store in Springfield, IL is lucky to have these 2 talented, helpful, personable and passionate employees working for them!

Bought a custom made leather sleeper sofa - charcoal! I absolutely love it!
Jay from the Springfield store helped me make my decision- she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Asked me good questions about my needs- took her time with me! I appreciated her honesty when I asked her questions - love her! I can’t say enough good things about Jay!
The delivery guys were also wonderful- they did an awesome job - helped me look over everything and opened the sleeper up for me to check it over!
I love my new sofa!
