Horrible customer service. I have received a gift from this store and wanted to exchange it to another item but in a very clear racist act an older lady denied me from making the exchange due to the container box (not the item) the container cardboard having a less than a quarter inch tear, the box has never been opened and the cups have never been removed from the original packaging as you can clearly see from the picture below.The way she acted was completely based on race It’s a shame such treatment still exists in 2024.
I drove to the Niles location afterwards and they were amazing and very pleasant I exchanged my item and bought another item from them

One of the few Hallmark stores left in the northern Chicago area. I hope this one stays open. Need a larger extended family selection eg aunts and uncles

My mom loves this Hallmark store, she buys so many cards from this place. This store is well stocked and sometimes few items are on sale to make it a good deal. However I think most of the cards are nice but so expensive. Maybe that why we don’t buy card but send free holiday cards instead.
But most of the ladies that worked there are the nicest and most helpful.

One of the things I like most about this place is that they have an incredible variety of gift items for just about any occasion. Everything from ceramics to plush toys to unusual items that you wouldn't see or typically find anywhere else. And of course, they have tons of cards. I tend to generally prefer humorous cards And I've never gone away empty-handed when searching for one for any occasion.
And the people there are uniformly welcoming and extremely helpful and just nice to deal with. For me it's a winner.

Great selection of items, and ship to store is free when you order online. They lose a point for customer service. Some of the older gals can be snippy, but then again, I guess they've earned the right ?

Need a quick pick-me-up? I'll usually stop in this store when I need to mail a package (usually because I need a card to put in the package). The cards are the usual -- I find the less flowery sentiments the better. But what brings me in is sometimes they have cool merch. One year I found a "ghost in a bottle" and I often find other great seasonal items. I'm not a Hallmark ornament collector but I always enjoy looking at them.On this day my eye was drawn to these food combos -- PB&J, burger & fries, avocado & toast, mac & cheese -- plushies and magnetic ornaments. These are so fun and delightful and would make cute gifts.
