Never ever get your hair done here because they will not only mess up your hair, they will gaslight you into believing it was your fault. Ms. Tien was asked to trim 1/2 an inch off my daughter’s hair in a u shape. However she cut off 2+ inches and added more unwanted layers to her hair. After the cut I questioned her but she was dismissive and claimed she knew what she was doing. I asked her to show my daughter the back of her hair and she was appalled. My daughter reminded her many times to only cut 1/2 an inch during the haircut but she became defensive and said she was experienced. We paid and left in dismay and my daughter was in tears. I felt horrible and we came back to talk to management. Then they asked to see the picture we showed her. We never showed her any picture but Ms. Tien made up this lie about a picture in order to save face and blame us. My daughter asked her what picture and she said it was a picture of curtain bangs. We were so confused and the manager and hair stylists all said they heard us say we showed her a picture. We asked if there was camera footage to prove we didn't but they conveniently had none. Then my daughter asked the hairstylists who were working next to her if they’d seen her show a picture but they claimed they were too busy to see anything they just heard us say we showed a picture when we were leaving. Not when we came in or sat down, they heard us say we showed a pic when we were leaving, how does that make any sense? Even if there was a picture of curtain bangs that does not call for Ms. Tien cutting off 2+ inches of my daughters hair, especially when she was explicitly told not to. It was one thing to ruin my daughter’s hair, but to blatantly lie about it was absolutely disgusting.

Stylist: Barba cut and styled my hair for my wedding day, I looked so beautiful. She even cut my now husband's hair that day too. She can do anything.

Very disappointed in the management team for this location. I had a new stylist color my hair. It was supposed to be dark blonde. I left there with black hair and it looked like a straw wig. I didn't know what to do so I called corporate and they asked if I wanted to file a complaint. I said NO , I just need my hair fixed. I lost a day of work and went to the North Aurora location and explained what happened and told them I did not want anyone to get in trouble. The stylist spent 3 hours to get my hair presentable but it was so bad she could not get it to where it was supposed to be. Come to find out , the new stylist that made a mistake on my hair got in trouble. Instead of educating the stylist on what happened, he got in trouble and a complaint was filed without my knowledge. Plus I have called many times to talk to management at the Skokie location and they do not have the courtesy to call me back. Management is supposed to work with their new stylist, not criticize them!

I scheduled an appointment on January 31 for a 9:30AM Haircut on Feb 3. I received confirmation on Jan 31 that my appointment was booked. I walk in the day of my appointment and they do not have me in their system. I look at my email and I received an email at 8:18AM saying "sorry you were a no show". I showed them my confirmation email and no show email. Their response "we're not even open at that time" they would not be able to take me until a later time which is not what I requested. I will not be going back to this salon since they would not honor my appointment me based on my confirmation.

Desperately needed a trim before the New Years and I never thought I'd set foot in a cheaper salon like Hair Cuttery or Bo Rics (remember that salon!?) so on a whim, I scheduled my appointment and got Barbara. She DELIVERED !! She did EXACTLY what I wanted. I went to an Aveda Salon in Highland Park and they can't cut for crap. Went back to fix what the previous stylist did to my hair by the master stylist and she messed it up more. So I'm very happy that Barbara cut my hair plus she's super nice! Thank You!!
