Needed service and parts to switch back my lawn tractor to the regular way of changing the oil and blades sharpened.
Chris (@Homer Glen location)in the service dept. helped me out a great deal. He was able to get the parts and they serviced the mower in a few days. Very quick and efficient team. Thanks again, Matt

For the last 3 days I’ve been *trying* to get a price on 2 rear tires for my zero turn mower. Yesterday 1:00pm Susan answered the phone & noted all parts people were busy & to expect a call back shortly. Called back at 6:00pm as I never received a call back - closed - left VM. No call back this morning, called again - Susan gave me the same response. Customer service is gone. It’s really getting hard to spend money these days.

I don’t really know this dealership but I bought a zero turn lawnmower from Home Depot and got it delivered so I don’t know if the sell to Home Depot or what but I checked the oil it was extremely overfilled by a half quart which is not good for any engine and the mower deck is way out of adjustment so I have to wait for a tool for that but I’m just saying if your sticker is on this piece of equipment I would expect your mechanics would of done a way better job at setting this up update I ended up having to drop the mower off at prairie state tractor and they fixed the deck it was so out of alignment it was totally my fault I should of went there and just buy a mower through them that way I know it would be correct instead of buying it from Home Depot And having a different dealership That was supposed to do the set up And failed to do so it’s a shame when you spend $4000 And a piece of equipment not even set up correctly again like I said I learned a very valuable lesson Support your local dealerships not big box stores

Tale of two locations: 1 awful, 1 great.
I needed service on a brand new Honda lawn mower subject to recall.
I took it first to the Shorewood location. TERRIBLE service. Said it would take minimum 4 weeks and (this is the best part) that the brand new mower would be stored outside subject to the weather (think spring rains). I chuckled at this service statement and responded “not a chance”.
I took it then to the Homer Glen location and they were great all-around. Repaired in 4 days (including getting part shipped). Mower stayed indoors.
Tale of two locations. Shorewood location is definitely the ugly sister.

Very good communication, customer service and efficient.Purchased a tractor from a fb add with Joe Stephenson, real good on working it out so I didn’t waste my time. Very Honest on previous owner and issues they’ve fixed on it, had a small hiccup after the purchase with a frozen door latch, Joe personally came to straighten everything out.I would highly recommend.

I have purchased several John Deere tractors,Polaris snowmobiles and other power equipment from Shorewood Home & Auto over the last 20 years. I just picked up my 2024 Polaris Boost I snow checked with a lot of dealer installed options. I must say I am VERY impressed with Kale Martin’s honest upfront pricing also the daily updates of getting my sled ready for the season. Also there set up guy did a great job setting up the sled the way I wanted it done. Great job Kale & Team!

I had read a lot(and I mean A LOT) of negative reviews and comments about this place but my original dealings with them was different. But now I get it, they are awful. Apparently the owner has no issues with the workers being rude and disrespectful to the their customers. BEWARE do not use this shop, save yourself the problems you will have.

Definitely would never recommend service here. Spoke with a guy name Rob on the phone trying to explain about a Motor and looking for a tuneup kit while while I was on the phone, he asked me to search for a serial number on the motor while I was searching for said serial number or plate that indicated what type of motor it was I was explaining to him the type of motor that it was Briggs & Stratton instead of staying on the phone and helping me he decides to say buzz back when you found the number like seriously I just waited 20 minutes on hold for someone to answer and just as I found the model number plaque on the motor, he hangs up. Needless to say, won't be taking my business there anymore not even my eXmark lawnmower The turf team here I come
