On January 18, 2024, before leaving the service department of a dealership on a different matter, I was told the battery in my car needed replacing. I went directly to the O'Reilly location in Roselle, explained to the clerk what I was told and asked to have the battery replaced having purchased it in June of 2023, thereby still under warranty. The clerk, whom I later found out was Isaac, indicated it was not unusual for dealership personnel to say that to women, and that he would have it checked using the store's portable hand-held device. As the older guy is walking out to check he says to me, "They don't care but we do." After checking the battery, I was told it needed charging, NOT replacing, which would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I eventually agreed to wait at which time he re-enters the store, comes out and says it would have to be done after 1:00 pm because Isaac wanted him to make a delivery and more employees would be there. It was approximately 11:15 am. After confirming with my brother and others, the battery should have without a doubt been replaced, especially since the battery charge registered around 12, an indication of a bad cell. What is so disheartening is that the older guy said they care about customers, but dealerships do not. That is not true--at least I was not cared for in the manner expected. Ladies beware!

I was so pleased with the outstanding customer service I received from Juan. I came in with several questions about various pieces for my car, routine maintenance. Juan was extremely patient and took the time to answer each question. He provided me with the parts I needed along with extra information I didn’t even realize I needed. Best experience I’ve ever had at an O’Reilys.

HORRIBLE!!!! My fiancé dropped off her battery to be tested a few months ago. The one person working said they'd call within the hour to let us know the status. Several hours no call, we stopped back and the employee had went home. Most likely didn't even check as left a note saying battery was ok, but dealership revealed different the next day when they were open. Today went in to buy a headlight. 2 older employees working. One helping another and the other just sitting around. Neither greeted me. Once I came to check out both just let me stand there for at least 5 minutes. Awkward and frustrated in disbelief I walked out. Neither batted an eye as they missed out on a sale. I then went down the street to Auto Zone and 2 younger employees greeted one and both helped with my search and rang me out in seconds, also lower price then O'Reily. O'Reily is HORRIBLE and shouldn't be in business. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

My battery didn't turn over on the first try this morning. Thankfully not dead on the coldest day of the year...but, unfortunately, on one of the hottest days so far this summer. This is the closest auto store to me, so they're my usual go-to. I bought a battery and kindly asked them to help me install it as they usually do when I get my battery here. Poor Juan drew the short straw, but he was so awesome about it!! It was SO HOT as we swapped the new for the old. He was efficient and not at all grumpy as he helped- even though he totally could've been mad bc it was scorching out. THANK YOU, Juan! You're the best!

We pulled into this store's parking lot when my vehicle unexpected sprung a coolant leak, overheated & started smoking. The associates here were so helpful and willing to lend a hand to advise what the culprit could be, let us use their restroom, and let us spend some time in the store while we waited for a tow truck. Just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality and company while we were stranded for a few hours! It was pleasant to see good honest humanity still around for people in need.

Our truck blew a brake line on the highway, this O'Reilly was the closest. We had our two year old son with us, and it was his birthday. The gentleman with the long black hair and chris we're AMAZING. they went above and beyond to help us. the gentleman with the long hair came outside to bring us waters, and gave our little boy a little toy for his birthday. They truly care about their customers. These employees made this situation a lot better. thank you both!
