My salesman Cody was simply phenomenal! He patiently answered all of my questions and waited as I changed my mind at least 6 times before finally settling on the first sectional he showed me. If and when I’m looking for more furniture i’ll buy from Ashley and absolutely have Cody as my salesman.

I have never been to a store where one of the store members chase me down and (after I indicated I didn’t need help) then threw some German phrase at me, then told me to “be careful” in a more menacing tone.
Clearly the store has aggressive sales techniques, which I do not appreciate and if they don’t get their own way, they are not pleasant to deal with.
On top of that, the prices are not a retail outlet price level. I think you can get some quality for cheaper elsewhere. Avoid all costs.

Ashley Homestore in Romeoville had exactly the couch I wanted. My sales person, Aaron Durand, was super helpful, funny and patient. I feel like I got a really great deal and am planning my return trip.

Brenda is a great asset to this location. Her flair for interior design really helped us think beyond our immediate purchase and more about how we wanted to design our living space. Brenda asked questions to help her get a better understanding of us as a couple and our family, and it helped give her ideas that appealed to both of us. We are definitely consulting Brenda for all our design needs. She has a personality to match and is really easy to talk to. Thank you Brenda!

Worst customer service ever. Change delivery date without telling you. Don’t show up on reschedule. Don’t answer phone. Manager won’t talk to you.

We went to Ashley after already having picked out furniture and paid for out at a competitor, who's not going to be able to deliver in our time frame despite saying they could. Brenda at Ashley was so welcoming from the moment we stepped in, from bedroom sets, to tables, to couches, to mattresses. She asked us questions to get to know us and the type of mattress we needed. She has our vote for any furniture needs!

Great experience buying furniture here. Not so great delivery. I ordered a sleeper-sofa rocker/recliner and end table to freshen up my family room and to have a space for my mother in law to sleep when she comes to visit. The company delivered the wrong chair. The delivery guy was rude about it when I pointed it out and said it’s not his problem, it’s my problem. So I called customer service and couldn’t get hold of a person, but I sawI can text customer service so I did that. I can guarantee I was texting a robot. Responses were so slow. Then I’m told i will have to wait 3 weeks to get the chair swapped out. My mother in law will have been here and gone back home before I get the right chair. It’s very frustrating. No compensation for sending the wrong chair, just a long wait for what will hopefully be the right chair. I’m not happy with the experience I’m having with Ashley.

I visited the Bolingbrook outlet & showroom looking to get a couch and loveseat with a specific need of getting something I liked but needed to choose something with the earliest in stock availability.
Salesperson helped pick out and researched choices with the specific instructions of delivery dates guaranteed by specific dates (in stock with 10 days out).
Gave her all the info, my DL, she filled out the necessary paperwork, I paid, and we were all set.
Not the case at all. I waited around for them to show-no dice. They were a no call no show. I called the Customer Service - they out me in an extended hold, said they spoke to store manager and he said the order was CANCELLED because the Salesperson didn't complete some step necessary on their end. They CANCELLED the order-OF COURSE KEPT MY MONEY-NEVER CALLED ME WITH ANY EXPLANATION OR FOLLOW UP. I had to chase answers.
I am a first time customer and this has so far been a horrible experience.
I was told "There is nothing we can do, we can place the order again, and it won't be available to deliver for another TWO WEEKS."
The Store Manager was supposed to call me the next day, as told to me by the Customer Service Representative, no call received. No email received. I suppose since my order wasn't $10,000 + I am not worth the trouble on their end.
***To the Ashley group, if you are interested in making a positive recovery, feel free to respond to this review with instructions on who to get in touch with that can actually do so.
***EDIT-06/25 Items were delivered. STILL no response from the company. Store Manager promised a reduction on the invoice for the troubles. Never happened, no email, no call back. Nothing. The Ashley group responds to the positive reviews - not any negative reviews and make no positive recovery on their mistakes or what is promised as attempted compensation (that I had to ask for-they promised - I had to chase it-I and ultimately it was ours just to appease me to leave the store).
Ashley Furniture- Feel free to contact and respond back with the best way to get ahold of someone that cares. I'll continue to update until the matter is satisfied and completed.
