“Best Post office anywhere. It’s the hidden gem of the Northshore. Lines are minimal or next to nothing, service is top notch. Clerks and Post Master there are polite, have manners and treat you like a human unlike the rest of the post offices around!! Anyone else that reviews this place and gives a bad review is most likely a hater. I saw someone post that this office randomly closes. That’s a total like! Especially at the times he posted it closed. I’m a frequent customer as in everyday bc my company sends me there everyday without fail at around 3:45 to process certifieds and this office clearly states it’s operating times and definitely is open and up and running EVERYDAY minus Saturdays past 3:50pm! The office does close M-F from 1pm-2-pm for lunch but for folks that know how to read signs they would see that clearly outside!! And the sign they put up inside at the entrance of the second door. DUHHHHH…”
“Lovely staff always. I accidentally dropped off a package in the 24hr drop box with the wrong label on it. Oh no! I came in when the post office opened to hopefully correct my error. The staff member (I forgot her name) was kind enough to go through all the packages to find mine. There were a lot... I had shipped four separate items, and she got them all for me. I found the one with the wrong label, and was able to put the correct label on it. Then shipped it off! This was totally my mistake. So I greatly appreciate all the help I received. Thank you!”
“USPS provides amazing value. I needed to send some envelops with two to three day delivery. UPS was going to charged my wife twice what USPS would charge, and when I needed to return the signed versions UPS was three times at much $92 UPS vs $35 for USPS - and delivered a day earlier! I rarely see these kinds of savings but here is one - use it!”
“I had the pleasure of working with Gale on a package of mine that was having issues being shipped from my post office. She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. She was so great to work with, almost would'nt mind if another package was delayed going to her location! haha. Thanks again Gale!”

“I had a postal money order for about $700 that could not be used for the purpose intended so I needed to have the money refunded. Lisa at the Highland Park Post Office is my hero. She took my phone number and called when they had enough cash on hand to make the refund. It took quite a few months because they rarely have that much cash but she faithfully kept my number. THANK YOU, LISA! Other post offices misinformed me. They told me I had to get the refund at a bank, which is not true. Lisa was right and went above and beyond the call of duty to help.”
“Service can be slow, but there is one worker here I'd like to commend! He's a tall guy who's helped me twice with shipping packages and was very patient, especially since I was super unfamiliar with the process. I appreciate his friendliness in an environment where customers & employees alike tend to be on-edge or standoffish.”

“This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address ?? will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.”

“I went 5/7 to do the paperwork to get my son his passport. Michael was there to help. I noticed that he was like that with everyone that came in which was a great thing to see as not all USPS workers are nice( I have experience first hand the unwelcome feeling) .Thank you Michael for being kind!”
“I am always more than satisfied with the prompt service that I receive at the Loveland Post Office. Some days there is a wait only because the Federal PO will not let passports be scheduled all on the same day, those are what holds up time. I have never observed any of the workers being rude, in fact Josh goes out of his way to be kind and apologize for the wait.”

“Went to send a package from here and it was phenomenal that it got delivered earlier than expected. The lady working there was really nice (loved her hair) and was able to help with what I needed.
The only negative thing here is that they really need more than one person working at the office. Services are slow because of this.”

“We are so thankful for this facility! We had another post office cancel our passport appointment an hour before. One call to this Lake Zurich location and Ivy was ready to help! They had an opening and saw us the same day. We can’t thank you enough. Processing was pleasant and photos were easy.”

“Great location, if one wants to mail directly instead of via local mailboxes. Usually not crowded, patient and helpful staff; sometimes busy at holidays or weekends but reliable. Nice variety of stamps available plus reliable service. Got solid advice from helpful staff recently on mail security and potential check fraud and unusual mail delays. Ideal place at slow times to get answers and informed answers at on USPS certified mail and tracking packages or letters.Front and side entrance are OK. Now-gone parking in back was a huge plus, though.”
“OK so it is a post office so things wont be the fastest but the place is clean the staff works hard and you get your stuff done. I also like the drive by mailbox if I want something to go out right away”
“I just went to this USPS location to mail my passport renewal and was assisted by Sheri who was extremely kind and helpful. She helped review my documents to make sure they were complete and walked me through what to expect with the renewal process. She made sure I was aware of my tracking number and how to obtain assistance if I need anything or have any issues. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this USPS location for your passport and mailing needs. Thanks, Sheri!”
“I've been to this location a few times and have always had a great experience. Everyone has always been kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I think a lot of the bad reviews stem from people being frustrated and/or not having the most pleasant attitude. I feel like the respect and politeness I've shown to the workers has always been returned to me. Special thank you to Octavia for being so helpful on my most recent visit!”
“My package was there when they were shipped from overseas and it took a couple of days for it to move on but I don't blame them because from what I can tell on the reviews all the locals think positive of it and helpful, and the reason why the review is so low at 1.4 is because there's short-handed not enough staff in that small town.”
“I had a great experience recently at the Morton Grove Post Office (June 2024). In order to officially change my mail forwarding address due to a move, I needed to go into the Post Office to confirm my identity, old mailing address, and new mailing address. Al at the front desk was great. He explained the process thoroughly and what I needed to complete it. He was also EXTREMELY patient when I was attempting to shuffle though my email looking for my leases and an email from USPS that I needed. I really appreciate how helpful and calm he was during the whole process and it was very seamless. Thanks Al!!!”
“I’ve been taught that people do have time to write a review on Google when they are mad. Don’t rely on Google Reviews when you are in doubt where your package at. Mine still a normal time processing, within 24h. Anyway using usps for international shipping so this one still quite fast!”
“Had a good experience knowing that other locations are usually so bad, the employee was very pleasant and you can tell that he was new. My wait time was okay, the only thing that made me upset is a customer who was behind me who took my place and went to the counter pretending she didn’t see me, she probably felt entitled because she is a regular customer there.”
