I come here only because they usually have my medication in stock while other local pharmacies don't. They take absolutely forever to fill prescriptions and they are rarely ready when promised. They do not call, text, or do anything to notify you when your prescription is ready so you have to call and hope someone actually picks up or drive over, wait in line, and likely be told the prescription that was supposed to be ready 2 days ago still isn't ready.

This review is specifically about pharmacy technician Josh A. As most of the other reviews state, it is a sloppy Pharmacy overall. The staff treat you as an inconvenience, Josh especially. He was quick to inform me any complaint I would make, would not matter, and he and the head pharmacist John Nguyen are ‘very close friends’ and he would ‘be texting him about this right away’. As I travel very frequently for work, and had recently switched pharmacies after moving to this area, I sadly will be switching again. The one thing this pharmacy is consistent on, is delivering very poor service. Big consistently have bad attitudes, consistently hate having to work while they are at work, and consistently got negative reviews. Josh is especially pompous, headstrong, and operates as if he is a doctor, and not someone who simply follows the orders of a doctor. Josh, and Meijer pharmacy in Plainfield, do better.

It's amazing that no matter how early in the day my prescriptions are sent in they are always out of stock and I have to wait multiple days. This is insane. Why am I taking medications if I have to stop and start every month because they are never EVER FILLED ON TIME.

2 stars because the staff has always been nice to me. I have been coming here for over 12 years and in that time period all my prescriptions have been correct and ready at the same time. i can't order until I'm almost out of my current pills they claim it is because of state laws which usually I end up missing pills. I never heard of this but it doesn’t surprise me with the way the state of Illinois works and treats our paying pharmaceutical residents. Get a organized system over their or give up this part of you organization before someone gets sick or dies over unorganization.

IF I HAD to choose between the behavior of devils in deepest Hell, and the employees at this pharmacy - above all, the stupendously arrogant pharmacists - I would choose an eternity in the lake of fire (where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth - surrounded by a host of devils in a moment. Perhaps the worst pharmacy in the Chicago area - and that's saying a lot!

The line it takes to pick up your prescription is crazy. Took over 45 minutes just to pick up a prescription they need to hire more people or do something because this is unacceptable and I have to find a new pharmacy.

A few days ago I stopped in at the Oswego, IL pharmacy for a flu shot. I was happy and excited to have arrived safely because the brakes on my car began to fail (!!!) as I was driving there. Once I arrived they told me they were booked up and couldn't do my vaccine that day. There was only one guy in the waiting area! No one else was in or around the area of the pharmacy except the pharmacist and the tech. How were they booked up? Every pharmacy I've been to in the last few years does walk-in covid or flu shots if they can. I've since confirmed with Meijer that they do walk-ins if they are not too busy at the time. They do encourage appointments. I was disappointed because my car is not safe to drive now and I don't know when I can go out anywhere to get my flu shot.

The pharmacist here is very inexperienced at best and wicked at worst. I get the exact same meds every month and every month is drama. They complain about the instruction on a med they dispense monthly that is if needed instead of using their brain to fill it with the usual instruction on file. Then they assume if you fill on 10th for a med it has to be 10th every month, not one day early even if you are traveling. These ARE not the law but attempts at playing God. This pharmacy is so wicked!
