We’ve been a family enrolled at children’s courtyard for just over a year now and truly cannot say enough great things. From the small things like the cleanliness and the meals served to the big things like the safety, quality of care, education, visibility, and communication. Currently have a 3 year old who has moved up through 3 classroom levels so far (so have been with 3 sets of teachers, all have been awesome), and an infant about to transition to the next class stage. Everyone we encounter is kind and welcoming. My ONLY complaint is it's expensive BUT competitive with other centers in the area. Quality of child care isn't something I'm willing to skimp on.

This school, Tracy, and all of the teachers that have worked for her hold the most special place in my family's hearts. We have been with CCY and Tracy for over 3 years now and started at CCY North when Tracy was a director there. Her as well as the establishments that she runs are professional, compassionate, CLEAN, the list goes on. The love Tracy projects onto kiddos, whether they're having a bad day and sit on her lap in her office all day while she works, or a child makes a visit at the front desk for a change of pace to step out of their classroom for a moment, is second to none. She does not have to do these things as a Director. - All of the staff we have encountered at North and at South now are incredible. Young childcare is not for the faint of heart and these teachers that work there CARE for their kids, as if they were their own. At North, we developed relationships with 2 teachers outside of the school that were my daughter's infant teachers. They still keep in touch 3 years later asking for recent pictures. One specific teacher at South who still works there today, literally saved my daughter's life. It is something I will never forget. She performed the correct protocol (and so did Tracy) as my 2 year old was choking on her food. There are another handful of teachers (past + present) at South that are like family to me and my daughter. They come to birthday parties, we go to outings together, etc. They LOVE and CARE for our daughter as if she was her own. - I agree with a comment below. Young kids learning to navigate the world are of course going to push, hit, shove, scratch, etc. until they are taught right from wrong. Incident reports are ALWAYS filled out when this happens, not to mention the live camera feeds are always rolling. The teachers redirect children, talk to them about why that is wrong to do, and diffuse situations like that as soon as they see them. - I could go on and on about CCY South, Tracy and her incredible staff of teachers. We currently have a 3.5 yo and a 9 month old enrolled at her facility and could not be more comfortable or confident with having our children there. The people who work here are AMAZING and really will become your family!!!

The Children’s Courtyard of South Plainfield is a fantastic daycare, and I could not ask for a better team to trust my child with. We have been at CCY since this location opened in 2021. Although I was incredibly anxious to have my child start daycare, the nerves quickly diminished as I observed the love and care the teachers provided my child every day to make her comfortable. Two years and four classrooms later, we have had nothing but positive experiences. My daughter adores her teachers and has formed strong connections with several of them. The team here truly feels like an extended part of our family. Other positives are the cameras you can view to see your child, and the teachers make sure to send you updates and photos on the app throughout the day. They are always doing fun activities, and my daughter comes home daily with something new she has learned. If there ever is a concern, the teachers and leadership team respond quickly, and when my child has gotten hurt, whether from another child or falling outside, I always receive incident reports and a message to notify me. I have never felt that anything but the children’s best interest was at the forefront of the CCY staff’s priorities. I highly recommend CCY!

This is a very bad establishment for children. My daughter attended their early preschool program and it seemed positive at first but at about 3 month period, my husband witnessed a teacher yelling at kids repetitively and push one of the kiddos who wouldn’t nap in classroom onto his cot. He saw this via their camera system and immediately reported it. This particular teacher was then transferred to the infants room. Another day I came to pick up my daughter and her face was full of scratches - couple of them deep/bloody. When I inquired about what happened the staff did not know. Tracy Gamino, the school director, and her district manager were unhelpful in investigating the incident and refused to review the camera footage from that morning. We opened an investigation with DCFS and removed our daughter from the center due to the total negligence and lack of cooperation to resolve the incident. Mom to mom I would advise you not to send your child there.

Several months later and we still think about this daycare. Worst experience of our lives. A few teachers were great but a majority were passive aggressive, rude and had an attitude. The director says she’ll address the issues we had but nothing was ever done. Find another daycare because this one was a nightmare.

This place takes great care of my kids and I definitely recommend to bring your own kids here! The staff are amazing, the management team is responsive and attentive, and the environment is so welcoming and friendly. The Children’s Courtyard is AMAZING!

If you're looking for a great daycare for your kid or kids I would highly recommend this Children's Courtyard. All of the teachers that care for your child are pretty tentative. When you arrive to pick up, they report how the day has been everyday! A big plus you will get updates via the daycare app throughout the day. The management team is very friendly and informative. The director has always communicated very well with my family and has been helpful on other occasions. I'm glad we chose to send our kids here.

Would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in the area!! Teachers are attentive, receptive and communicate very well!! From the beginning the director has gone above and beyond to ensure that our child has had the best daycare experience possible! I couldn't thank her enough! The SproutAbout app is a great tool for parents and teachers to communicate and receive real time updates!

One of the best most welcoming loving daycares around! everyone that works here is so amazing! anyone that says this daycare is bad clearly haven’t ever met anyone that works there. they are very welcoming to everyone that comes in. multiple teachers at this daycare are now like family to my family. Love all of you guys keep up the great work ❤️

My son has been going to this location for just over a year and I absolutely cannot brag enough at how much he has learned. He has hit every step and goal from our doctors since birth with the assistance of his teachers, they have the outmost knowledge and respect and treat each little as one of their own. I have 10000% confidence in the staff and management. They have become family. Fair warning, if you send your child here, the staff will become family to you as well.

My son has been going to this location since he was 5 months old and there are some teachers who have sincerely turned into “family” to us. I am appalled to see reviews saying the staff is rude and the director doesn’t care because that is furthest from the truth! Everyone at this location has a smile on their face and makes you feel welcome. My son has thrived so much being at this location and even though this location is a drive out of our way, we can’t justify moving him elsewhere because of how much he loves his past, present and future teachers!As far as the reports of incidents, kids are kids and at least at my sons age (2) sharing is new to them, tantrums happen and they don’t yet know how to express emotions so they scratch, try to hit, etc. BooBoo’s happen everywhere and whether it was my son who was injured or was the one acting out, we are given incident reports to detail the incident, any injuries, etc. never once felt the need to call corporate or DCFS for this location! Ignore the negative reviews and tour this location yourself. I can guarantee you will see the love these staff members have for their families! Tracy and crew are beyond amazing!♥️

This daycare needs to be shutdown,the community and dCFS needs to investigate this daycare. The teachers are rude and have the worst attitude..I approached one of the teachers about three weeks ago about my concerns,right after that this lady never spoke to me or even makes eye contact when I drop my kids off. The director Tracy Gamino does not CARE, she let's her teachers do whatever,i once reported an issue to her,she did nothing about it. They are aggressive with the children's and treat them so badly,poor example of a daycare. Our children deserve better.

Horrible, disgraceful, disgusting, disrespectful teachers, personal and The owner of this location considers your child a walking dollar sign and nothing else. They will put the economics of getting every dollar out of you rather than creating a safe environment for your child or respecting any of your parental concerns.

This is the most wonderful center. My child has been in multiple classrooms as he's gotten older and each one is amazing. The teachers are warm, welcoming, and have great communication. It is reassuring to receive updates, pictures, and messages throughout the day about my child. The entire staff is fantastic and I feel completely at ease when leaving my child at the CCY. I would definitely recommend this center for all ages.
