Bought a 75" TV from Peru. Opened it up and the screen was shattered. Immediately called the store, they said bring it in. Loaded it up, drove all the way in to the store. Only to be told that customer service was closed at 8. No one told us that on the phone when I called. Apparently after 8 there is not one soul who can do a return. Left with a basket full of half assed sorrys and a shattered tv to wait for customerWalmart. To open. There's a reason why everyone hates walmart.

The Place This Walmart Supercenter is located at 5307 Rt 251 Peru, Illinois. This is a clean store and in normal times has a complete inventory. The deli area has the typical offerings and the service has been good on my visits. The service/experience/value Overall I have had good experiences at this Walmart. The prices are reasonable and usually very competitive.

I stopped by the Walmart because I was traveling through and needed to pick up a few things. It was right off the interstate so it was pretty convenient. There is plenty of parking because it was located next to a shopping center. It was pretty crowded but it's a big Walmart so it didn't feel too packed. There are some neat features inside this Walmart. There was also a lot of cashiers in the checkout lanes so people who didn't want to use the self-checkout didn't have to wait too long.

4 hours for an oil change, okay, going somewhere else. Was already reluctant since they stripped the oil nut on my sisters car the last time she had it in. I don't sense business, but rather laziness

I've been here for 15 minutes and have yet to be acknowledged by a single sales person. Customer service here is nonexistent. The workers seem more interested in talking with one another than helping people.

Walmart is the number one place we shop for groceries at. They have everything, from clothing to food and drinks, they have it all. If I'm looking for something in particular, they always seem to have it. There's no limit to what you can find. And, their prices are decent and their brands of food, clothes, toys and jewelry are good. What else can I say? - they are reliable when it comes to shopping for groceries.

Here's the deal. Every employee there is mistreated therefore unhappy be nice to them. The people walking around with there little head sets and fake smiles are who you need to bother because as a ex employee for one they don't care about you they don't care about their people they care about themselves. Shake them up a little by asking them for help. I'm sure they'll turn red and have no idea what to do. Why are they always hiring? Much like a prison they are a revolving door. So shop there but think twice before wasting your time applying going through a orientation where they fake liking you and than being part of the unknown throwaways known as associates. I saw the main manager Corey 4 times including orientation where he told us how he cared along side Abby who I promise you she doesn't care about you. They both forgot my name within a day. Once again shop there dont work for this company.

This store has absolutely the worst customer service of all Walmart I have had the displeasure of shopping at orders come days later than said in emails and associates can't be bothered between gossiping among themselves to check for it as for walmart.com which is worse than the store I must say it gets far worse the more you have to speak to their customer service agents and supervisors who hang up when the questions get to complicated to answer in addition to that they also cent find your order using any method besides the order number I personally will never recommend the site and or the store to anyone or anything with a credit card this is why you should save yourself the trouble and just go to target

A typical Walmart, ended up with a long hair in my mouth once in the hot food section, the manager promptly took care of it for me but all I can say is, GROSS!!

Went to the paint department at the Peru SuperWalmart today with the intentions of getting a can of paint mixed up for a small project I was doing. After waiting at the counter for a few minutes, I decided to call Walmart and asked them if they could have someone come over and mix some paint for me. A page was made and still no one showed. Then an assistant manager seen me standing there and asked me if I needed paint mixed. I said yes and she paged for some assistance to the paint counter and to no avail noone showed up. A total of 13 minutes I stood at that paint counter waiting for help. I was fed up! As I walked away I confronted an associate of my dilemma and I was told that this store was cutting their hours and now because of it there is no help. Why would you not have enough coverage especially on the weekends. I left the store and went to Home Depot where I got waited on right away and walked out with the paint in hand that I needed.

I decided to go with a walmart pre paid visa card. Set up my paycheck to go direct deposit. Told me it would take two weeks to receive my debit card but i could use the temp card. 1st problem.. temp card would not allow cash withdrawal. 2nd would not allow transfer of funds. 3rd problem card never came. So i called walmart support and after 10 minutes of fighting recordings i was able to talk to a rep. The kindly apologized and ordered me a new card. Next day i could no longef use the temp card. Apon calling support agsin i was told funds were moved to new card (that im now waiting another two weeks for) and no longer had access to my funds. With two payroll check deposited it left me with no funds for two weeks or until the elusive card shows up. Support people were rude and useless. Had no salutation to the problem nor did they care. Stay clear of the walmart cards.
