My old 2001 Dodge van power steering pump needed a replacement back in 2018. Skips gave me a quote and fixed it up in no time. Two years later still no issues. No fuss and his diagnostic fees were cheaper than my other shop. Will be back bc I know my van will have more issues.

My car has been making a crazy squealing noise for the last year at least, and I've taken it to a few different places who either charged me to fix the problem and it didn't actually fix the problem, or who have said it's "just brake dust" and have sent me on my way. I was ready to up and just buy a new car out of frustration, but after looking through recommended places on Yelp and Livermore Rants & Raves, I came across Skip's and felt like I had to have him check it out . Over the phone he was friendly and easy to talk to- in person he was just as great. I took my car in the next morning and he found that the last guy who did my brakes left a pin out of the back rotor and didn't grease anything so my brakes were making that awful noise. He gave my car back to me the next morning and it was such a relief to have it back, I don't even listen to music anymore because I just love the silence of my actual not-squeaky car! Love this place, and you will to! Nice to have a guy you can trust, he will be where my man and I take my cars from now on and you would be wise to do the same!

Great experience with Skip and his shop working on my 96 mustang gt I'm usually weary of having other people work on my car, but servicing my AC was beyond my skillset Skip was spot on with his original quote (which was much more reasonable than I expected) and kept me updated on anything that might slow things down. Car was ready right on schedule, and I have had zero issues or hiccups in the 6 months since Friendly guy, straight shooter, and doesn't push additional superfluous repairs like other shops do. Car guys like myself will feel right at home in his shop, which is decorated with all kinds of old chrome badges and Nascar memorabilia

My wife bought me a 51 Ford truck as a hobby. I needed to have the engine switched out for one I had bought from a neighbor. Skip and his crew took care of everything and fixed all the issues they found along the way. My truck will need more work done as i restore it and I will be sure to take to Skips!!

Skip is the best. He does great work, above and beyond. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable. He helped me numerous times with my old lemon and when I inquired, gave me sound advice that enabled me to pick out a new used car that I'm very happy with. I've even moved away from Livermore and will continue to come to Skip. HIGHLY recommend.

We've been taking our vehicles to Skip's since moving here five years ago (having found him via Yelp reviews). He and his staff have always been friendly, done great work, and at fair prices.
