Scott Automotive is by far the best car repair shop in the area. I’ve owned a Jeep Wrangler for 9 years and he has done most of the repairs on my Jeep.
He is honest and will give you the best price on the repairs. I’m glad I found a person that cares about his customers.

The lady that answers the phone is SUPER rude. I wouldnt let them repair a bicycle, let alone a car. You are losing business with this hateful talking women

Spent 1000. Truck died on way home. Told me he’s been using it for errands and stuff and runs great. Said after he was done repairing it that it would cost me another $1200 to fix the fuel pump. Took it to another mechanic and he said all it needed the entire time was a new fuel pump. They fixed things that weren’t necessary. Price gouge. Had my truck for 2 weeks. $165 mystery charge. Was told it was for tech support. How is that not included in the labor?

3 stars because I was able to drive my Mercedes home both times I went there. First time, I didn't know what was making noise, and they told me my bearings were bad and probably bad on the other side. I asked well how much for both sides and was given a quote but didn't say it was for only the bad side's work. Second time, I had no power and after 3 WEEKS the problem was a corroded wire. Why did it take so long? Because of having to wait on hold to tech support who guided them to the actual root of the issue. I was patient throughout the whole time I was their customer, but would it hurt to inform me along the way what is being done so I don’t get surprised by the bill?

We got stranded on our way through Peoria because our radiator fans burned out. They were able to take a look the same day, and were able to give us a pretty good overview of the situation quickly. I appreciate that they gave us a good amount of detail about our options, especially since our vehicle is pretty old and parts are hard to find.

I had taken my 2008 Honda CRV to a few places and nobody diagnosed my CRVs problems correctly until I found Scott Automotive. Not everyone knows about Hondas but Scott sure did and I'm so thankful to find him...it's very hard to find good mechanics around Peoria IL.

Not sure who waited on me. After I had to have a jump, I took my vehicle over there for them to check battery. They also checked the alternator. Cost me $68.00. he tells me it's the battery. It went to a 12.6 but then started decreasing quickly in power when they took it off the tester. I told him the battery was fairly new from dealer. If I have to buy a new battery, I'm taking it to the dealer cause they will pro rate it for a new battery. I then go to Toyota who tested it for no fee and tell me the battery was good. It was three years old by the way. Toyota would not pro rate for a new battery because they couldn't find anything wrong with the one I had. I feel Scotts Automotive lied to me about needing a new battery. Trying to make a buck off of a senior female citizen. Very disappointed. Yes, they were nice and friendly but that's not important in my case.Service: Battery

I'm happy he is a good guy . It's a lot different than dropping your vehicle off at good year take my word for it. There not cheap getting your car or truck worked on isnt cheap anywhere. If u find that place where it is I'm betting u dont go back, we take our stuff here and have for few years, Based on trust. We feel safe goin there

Scott was a life saver! I was 200+ miles away from home and my VW suddenly had an engine issue that the local VW dealership didn’t have time look at. When I asked for a local shop they could recommend, Scott’s was their recommendation. They were right and then some! Scott accommodated me at the last minute and fixed the issue that THE DEALERSHIP had likely caused just a month before for a recall.Amazing service, super friendly, and very fair and honest about the work on my car. Wish there were more people, let alone mechanics, like Scott!
