2 different salesman and 1 finance guy told me they would get back to me, call me on a specific date and yet that never happened. One salesman did respond after I emailed to ask why the lack of response. He said he called, although my phone showed no missed calls or messages from the dealership. I've purchased several vehicles and suggested friends and family to check Shields out. I've been a good service customer with them for this last vehicle with them all the service has been thru the dealership. No more, if this is how they support their customers, I want no part of this place either location Paxton or Rantoul!!

The definition of bait and switch. Website shows a pre-owned car for a specific price. I drive up to look at it. The salesman comes out and says, Oh. That car was sold already. But we have another one going through service. It will be priced higher however.If it was a simple mistake, I can see that. But there was no explanation and offer to make it right. Just a salesman trying to sell me a different car at a higher price.

I really wish I could give them a good review, but other than buying a vehicle there I wouldn't recommend using their mechanics. They really don't know what they are doing or talking about. Maybe it's that they have a rookie staff?Anyway just dont do it..

Brought my truck in for recall work on the passenger side airbag in December. Picked up the truck to find the dash cracked right by the airbag. I was told "they all crack there and it was cracked before they started". It was not! They would contact me on what they could do for me to make right. Still waiting to hear from them. My guess is they are not interested in doing anything to correct the issue

Thank you Rick and the service techs that fixed our suburban! My wife and 3 kids we’re driving from Missouri to Michigan With a trailer when the front hub assembly(bearings) started to freeze up. We happened to be 5 miles from Paxton so we stopped not really having a choice. It was after 4 pm when I walked in to see Rick. It must have been the pathetic look on my face because he told me to drop the trailer and they would take a look. So all five of us went to the waiting room wearing masks and all expecting to be sitting there for a couple of hours. Rick told us they had the part in stock and they would start right away. Rick came back in within an hour and said they were wrapping it up and taking it for a test drive. So from start to finish and back on the highway it was less than an hour and half. Everyone there was great!
