After over 25 years with the same tax service we needed to find someone new because our previous tax service no longer did individual taxes. After searching several companies we decided on Taxes-The Financial Services and was very pleased. Damian Galazka did our taxes, he was very prompt and gave us advice on what steps we should take going forward in the future . My name is Jimmy Fishbein. I'm the owner of Chicago Corporate Photography and Video.I've been a client of "Taxes - The Financial Services Corp." for over 10 years. I really had no issues until the recent past year. I've been specifically working with non-responsive, Artur Arciuch who has been pushing me over to an even less-responsive Sylvia Thomas. I've received penalties from the IRS recently that I have shared with them with no response. I also had some insurance audits that Artur and Sylvia promised would be complete within a week and wasn't complete for over 2 months. They have not told me of any business issues due to Covid nor have I received any explanations for their lack of efforts and response. I've written email after email and unfortunately it's come to writing a negative review to get their attention, which I hope works. Artur and Sylvia, you both know you have failed in your professional duties to get back to you and take care of your client. So, here's your review.11/11/20I received an email from Artur Arciuch immediately after this review was published and his opinion was that the review wasn't fair and he requested I remove it for that reason. In my response back to Artur Arciuch, I asked him to respond to the ignored emails I had sent him over the past few months and once he does, I would remove the review.Here's what his response was to me "We will not entertain discussions in the vein of a hostage negotiation, or blackmail, or extortion, or whatever this here sounds like."This is a financial company accusing me of hostage negotiations, blackmail and extortion. If you're reading this review, I'll let you decide whether you want to move forward with hiring this company or working with Arthur Arciuch or Sylvia Thomas.I'm not out to cause trouble, I just wanted to be treated like any customer would want, let alone a LOYAL customer who has been paying their bills on time for 10+ years. What a shame.
