“My son needed to get his first checking account. We attempted to walk in to several other local banks and refused due to lack of employees. We decided to try BMO palatine. We didn’t schedule an appointment on a Saturday and walked in 8 minutes before they closed. Vidhya was so kind, willing to help my son and took her time helping him out and explaining how to use his mew accounts. We opened a checking and savings for him with her help. “About a month ago I brought my daughter in-law into this Harris Bank to open a cd with the funds she and her husband received from their wedding. When we walked in, it was a bit crowded, but a nice young lady asked us to please have a seat and to help ourselves to some coffee. We did have to wait about 10 minutes to be helped, but that's not unreasonable. We met with their banker Rich, and talked about current cd rates. He was very polite, however, we couldn't agree on the interest we were to receive on the cd. I was trying to see if they could match another bank. Rich then brought in Mr. Quin, who was the bank manager to help with the situation. He seemed very knowledgeable and was interested in a "big picture" point of view when it came to our relationship. After all was said and done, we opted to open the cd with Harris. We were pleased with our visit...we just wish the interest rates could be a bit higher. - Walt -”

From the friendly greeting by Peggy the teller, to efficient service from Sal for transactions that had to be done in person, this was a surprising pleasure. Kudos to the manager and the entire team. Certainly a model for other branches. Note: highly recommend booking an online appointment through the website in advance. They were able to accommodate me early!”

“I've used Citibank for years, here in the US, and in South American cities as well. I was sorry to see the branch office in Des Plaines close and move to Park Ridge, but I have to say the new facilities are very pleasant, the automated banking in the lobby is very comprehensive, and the staff have always treated me well. This seems to be hallmark for Citibank, because the foreign offices were friendly and competent as well. A bonus that I always look forward to is the complimentary espresso. It is real espresso and you can prepare it as a regular coffee size and strength drink or in the traditional, supercharging small espresso size cups.”
