Apparently to actually bank at a Citi bank location, you can't work a normal 9 to 5 job, as they open at 10 and close at 5!

Over the phone customer service is a nightmare you'll be waiting on the phone for hours and getting transferred literally across the world. No surprise they lost 500 million dollars. No one knows what they are doing in this bank.

$29 late fee on a credit card. That is THEFT. Automated voice automatically refuses to refund. Agent wont refund. It just isnt worth banking at Citi anymore. Go with a different bank.

I gave one star... but is should be "0". I have been a Citibank client since 1991. We have business accounts, personal accounts, and credit cards thru Citibank. Anytime you go to the Palantine branch, the manager is rude, and indicates you need an appointment. When you try to set an appointment, the manager indicated that he cannot help you. Vernon Hills, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg do not require an appointment to handle notarizing documents, business changes, personal banking chages...etc. The manager is arrogant and does not want to do any work. He redirects any request to the client, and ask them to fill out paper documents and mail them to the address indicated on the form. I needed to see the banker so I coud have the address and my maden name updated to mar.ried name When I indicated that I wanted them done in the branch so that changes would take effect immediately, he told I needed an appointment. When I tried to scheduled an appointment, he told me he could not help me because I did not have appropriate documentation. I brought the appropriate documentation that the customer service represtative instructed me to bring over the phone prior to my branch vist. ... Needless to say, corporate Citibank (800 phone number) told me they would contact the regional director. Hopefully this get eliminate the horrible management, and the clients can receive better service. (I am writing this review since I called the corporate number, and they couldn't pull up this branch in their system, and I had to provide the street address, cross street, and zip code)..... Time to look for a new bank!

I drove here for help in setting up my online banking. They sent me a banking card but envelope with pin never came. Sadly it turns out I need an advanced appointment! Their only banker is not seeing customers unless you scheduled an appointment. CITIBANK, I think they are going down the drain soon.

This Internet record says this branch is closed on weekends and closes at 5 p.m. during the week. People generally work until 5 during the week and are home weekends. Sounds like Citibank wants you to bank online or bank somewhere else. There are a couple other banks very close by that have better hours.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! Staffs are expert in FRAUD Activity for False Advertisement. They will not give you any Thank You Points even If you open multiple accounts at this Location only. They didn't issue my 30K Thank You points on my account as per advertisement. Later told by manager that, I don't see any promotion code in your account. I want to give Minus Points, if possible. I highly recommend to go to different location to open new accounts.

This is the most awful experience that I have ever had with this bank, and I have been with them for over 20 years. The personal banker did not know product information properly. They did not care what we initially came in for together, and it is very difficult for my husband and I to coordinate this. Our time was spent setting up a line of credit that we did not want in the first place, and it was not done to our specifications regardless. We will have to go into the bank again to get this all sorted out. Communication with this personal banker afterward via telephone was horribly horribly horribly frustrating. In my opinion this is a poor example of customer service. This personal banker should be selling products at a hardware store.
