The trainers are always willing to assist when I have questions or need help. Agyei is usually there during my work outs. He's very helpful and knowledgeable of the equipment and what exercises will best help meet my workout goals

Great gym! Very clean, staff is very friendly! All equipment works very well. They really do take care of their equipment in this location, everything's lube or oiled :) not like some other locations i have been to.Been going to this gym for about a year and will continue!thank you Anytime :)

Clean gym, all the machines are operational, friendly staff and not super crowded. Everything xsport can't provide you. I would recommend the gym to others!

Great gym and nice trainers. Very expensive though and they talk you into signing a year contract with a personal trainer. Even when it’s a recession they still want to charge these expensive prices. I lost all my weight before coming to the gym so I know what to do. I didn’t mind paying at first but to be honest I can do it on my own. but if you want to get out of it you can’t.

I like this very gym but I'm mad now because when I registered 2yrs ago ,I was told that I can use anytime fitness anywhere. Just 2months in chicago now and the gym manager stressing me with several email that I have to transfer my membership to Chicago and my contracts in palentine is till June of 2022.Has anyone experienced this before? Even when I asked him what's my limitation to use your gym ,he has no answer, his response was that I frequent the gym enough to be their members lol. He said I'm under paying because anytime fitness is a franchise ?♀️

The contract signed to get a membership is a trap. This club is dirty, small, and they'll do anything to get your money. I provided a literal doctors note stating I couldn't work out and they told me they can't cancel my membership because "6 months isn't a good enough reason to cancel". The note had to state "indefinitely". I had to jump through hoops to get it canceled after a physical injury!!! Was penalized for getting injured. And then they were rude to me because I was trying to cancel! Sorry I got injured??? When I first signed up all they did was try to get me to pay more for more classes, personal training, etc. Initially they told me all classes were included to what I was paying and then all of a sudden I had to pay extra for the classes. On top of it, the machines are dirty and so is the facility and the place is pretty small. There's a layer of dust covering the stair masters/treadmills and cobwebs in the corners. I would literally never recommend anyone get a membership here. Spend the extra couple dollars a month and go to LifeTime or LAFitness.

More muscle definition in 2 months of going consistently than I've had in my entire life, almost all the flab is gone also. The trainer goes the extra mile and will offer dieting and general fitness advice that make the difference.

Two issues I have with this location1) when I first joined, trainers/staff were very pushy for consultations2) water massage bed is broken down fairly frequently when I’ve tried to use it and is one of the big reasons I decided to join

I had an unpleasant situation with one of the managers who FORGOT to cancel my membership. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Even though I signed the cancelation papers in advance, I was overcharged at the end with a big amount of money, which wasn't fair at all. I would put 1 star, but I chose 4 stars because good people such as Agyei and Anthony work there too. Thanks

The perfect gym for those who know what they’re doing and like being around others with the same mindset. All the equipment you need and none that you don’t.Staff is generally hands off but keeps the facility spotless and welcoming.All regulars are tolerant of each other’s individual choices regarding mask wearing, which makes for a relaxed and non-hostile environment unlike other, larger gyms.I will continue to recommend AF palatine to anyone in the area.
