“Meijer is the place to go if you don't have a super target, and are sick and tired of paying the prices for groceries at Tony's or Jewel. It's quite convenient too considering you can get normal groceries, but they also have a clothing dept, show dept, electronics dept, a pretty impressive beauty and cosmetics section, as well as a great area for automotive products, and on the off chance you're there to pick up some cereal and milk and you think to yourself, "I'd like to buy a fish tank and live fish today," you're covered!!The meat dept also offers a large variety of different and harder to find cuts of meat (brisket, tri-tip, NY strip ROASTS, etc)”

Legit, it was not so long ago that I had to make a separate stop to pick up milk after hitting up the 'ol Tar-jay. Now, I can get trowels, towels, tampons, and turnips all in one place.*Well, maybe not the turnips. But they do have other veggies.**They might have turnips. I'm not sure. I don't really eat turnips, so I've never looked.”

“The employees here are great. Everyone is always friendly and happy to see me. Customer pickup is down to a science here. Returns are easy. There is a nice range of selections throughout the store. This ranges from food to clothes to electronics. A lot of the brands are good quality and affordable like Good & Gather, Up & Up, Favorite Day, etc.”
“One of the better Walmarts in the area. Folks are typically helpful. Items are well organized.I go to another one further west that's ok but this one is good.”

“I've been shopping at the Oswego store for years. Besides having very competitive pricing, you also have solid products, from the main name brands to your experiment with Fredrick's (I tried some and they were spot on). But my main reason for writing is the team in self checkout. They're always gracious and accommodating. Keep it up! You're a good team! I hope the Meijer leadership treats you well, because you deserve it! Side note, Meijer reusable bags, the big ones, are awesome! Just bought my 4th, and now I'm set. The only thing I wish is if you'd bring back the long handles. Your early bags were the best of the best.”

While I was inside the store it had snowed quite a bit and Leo was not only collecting all the carts strewn all over the lot, but also using a brush to wipe the snow and scrape the ice off cars as their respected owners came out. “It's been YEARS since I shopped TJ Maxx. I really stopped because the stores were always overwhelming - to much merchandise packed in too tightly. But today, EVERY mid-level retail store is stocked just the same, too much stuff, too little space to move and too short on staff. So... I decided to give the Maxx another try since it was closer to my home than the higher end stores in the malls. Well, I wasn't disappointed! I found a gift for all 5 of the people I needed to buy for that evening and some of the prices were really nice, in spite of the exorbitant cost of goods these days. It was a very pleasant experience, the cash associate was sweetly engaging and I'll shop here again!”
