The manager at this location is rude. After waiting in line for 30 minutes to pick up my wife's online order, I was informed I would have to be on the pick up list. I had my wife on the phone and there was no way they would let me pick it up. Following policy is one thing, but the lack of understanding and heartlessness is another. No wonder this place has 2 stars .

The staff in this children's place need be re training on how do retail and how treat customers this place horrible they service suck and workers are lazy. They cancelled our for pick up to tell us the items out stock. So walk on floor in found them items and ask them do this look out stock and they going tell me I got wait 2 days for money cause of they lazy naw working selfs shack my head. Y'all need do something about them or close store.

They are holding my order hostage because I didn't fill out the alternative pick up, you know in case something happens. I am unable to physically pick up and they won't release my order to my sister even with a virtual call to prove it's me. So now I have to wait to them to make me a no show to get a refund. On top of that the store manager allows her staff to pretend to be her on the phone. Unbelievably rude, children's place should protect their name and fire everyone just based on all these bad reviews.

Black Friday!!!! One of the worst store’s manager needs to be put under new management or they need better training because that older heavy set lady was so rude…I was trying to ring out my things and I had a coupon in my emails trying to load because the reception in there was horrible….I signed up for a credit card and everything but she told me I’m holding up the line because I was trying to pull it up…so after I did all that I put my 300$ worth of stuff back and I told the girl to delete my account because I’m not coming back…I was only 5 mins n it was only 4 people behind me n it was another cashier there moving fast

I sent my husband to pickup a pair of shoes I ordered for my daughter for a photoshoot she was having the next day. The cashier was rude and wouldn't give him the shoes. She said it had to be the person who ordered to pickup. I provided him the order number and a photo of my driver's license. Then I got on a video call to speak to her and she still told me that he couldn't have my order without me being there in person. That just seems ridiculous. I'm literally on a video call telling her that he can have my order.

Sara and Araceli were the absolute best. I was greeted when I came in the store. I was told of sales that were going on. I was checked in on if I needed help or had questions. They did the same for other customers that came in after me. The store was tidy and clean.Great customer service. Nice atmosphere and I was in and out. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

If you hate your job quit you have options get your head on straight and make big money . Each human on this living earth is capable of being a good human it's all how your mind is prepared . Young cashier will slowly learn. And the aisles extremely unbearable it's actually a possible OSHA in fraction.

Went into store yesterday evening. There was lack of knowledge amongst the staff. One cashier with 5 customers in line and 4 other staff members standing around including the manager on duty. I went to rerun an order I purchased on line with items in hand and order number and all cashier, manager, and other staff member told me I couldn’t get a refund because it’s reading “items returned” uh how?! I have everything here. Upon the return I was always making a purchase and asked if the items could be switch to a different size, I was told “no, we don’t do that here.” Therefore I proceeded and spent more money by making another purchase. Cashier act as if she couldn’t properly count the change to give back to me. Now back to the items getting refunded now the manager says I can do a switch but mind u mins earlier I was told I couldn’t so I made my purchase. At this point I felt they were trying to say I stole the items and were trying to return twice like how?! Here’s my bank card and here’s the items in my hand. There’s no direction for a line customers were all over crowding the register until an employee yells “the line starts here” another customer shouts well “arrows, or ropes would help.” Please hire ppl with customer service skills, math skills, and professionalism

This store is extremely overcrowded with tables and racks I could barely access the jeans so I walked out. Customer service did not exist. No spoke just into their own conversation.

I placed an order online for my niece in Chicago and when the order was received it was wrong. My sister lives in Chicago and drove out to Orland Park to exchange due to the wrong item was received. The manager told my sister it is an error from the warehouse and could not help her. All she wanted to do was to exchange the item for the correct leggings. Managers name is Lorensia. (Not sure of spelling of name)The worst customer service we have ever received from Children’s Place.The manager was asked several times are you sure you can’t help. She said no it’s a warehouse error. Not sure how Children’s Place error is our fault, but she wouldn’t help. The receipt was with the exchange and it still wasn’t good enough.The store is also very disorganized.Very Disappointing.

very poor customer service. I went in to get gift cards today and it turned into something else. Needlessly to say I won't be shopping here again.
