I've been to this store about once a month this year for various projects. It always looks like a tornado went through it. Most of the employees have varying degrees of attitude. The worst is behind the fabric counter. To the woman behind the fabric counter that was rude to my mother yesterday. I see you, do it again and I can show you an attitude also.

The Orland Park location is a mess. I checked the website and the item I needed listed 6 in stock. Wasted time and gas only to fine the shelf empty. An employee that was putting away stock told me that they were very far behind putting up merchandise and they had to bring in other employees from different stores to help. I was told there was no way to locate the item because boxes were not marked. I have repeatedly found this store messy with items found in the wrong isle or spot. This location needs a new manager that has organizational skills so that this disheveled store can be cleaned up.

horrible customer service. was here on the 4th of dec at 915am. cashier was a dark haired lady who was incredibly rude to customers who had done nothing wrong. reconsider her as an employee! if I could leave 0 stars I would.

Was very rude and closed the cutting count 30 minutes before it closed do not recommend save your time and plus not organized and really rude and disrespectful staff

Went in at 8:30 to gt 4 yards of fabric for mu daughter and her friend to make a blanket was told at 8:33 that the cutting counter was closed and i that they Reopen at 9 AM tomorrow. My question to the lady working the counter is this.... Why would your cutting counter be closed at 8:30 in a fabric store? I don't care how many people you have working there. Other people work all day long too. And have to make a stop later on Friday night to try to get stuff with their kids or projects. And to be turned away and back in my house before the store even closed according to the sign on your door or on your website is absolutely ridiculous.

Sharon is thee most miserable person working the register. Everyone in that store is unprofessional and rude. Do not waste your time or money in this store.

I’m not very familiar with fabric. When I told the woman cutting it I wanted 2 yards she scoffed and said, “You’re not gonna get anything out of this,” okay, sure, that’s fine, I accidentally misjudged it. I wanted to go checkout some other fabrics instead to which she responded, “Crestwood may have some,” and I didn’t quite hear her so I leaned in and said, “I’m sorry?” wanting a clarification. Clearly annoyed she said, “Crestwood, Joanns, the store, they might have some,” I was excited to make a blanket but instead left feeling stupid.

Love the selection, the prices and the helpful sales associates. The people staffing the cutting table can answer just about any sewing question and are a terrific source of project advice.

I was very frustrated. I came up to the cashier to check out and explained that the Hudson ware and a few cooking items were down the 70% off isle. The cashier argued with me and called the manager. I asked that the manager meet me down the isle to show me and clarify her signs. The manager never showed up. I got another employee and she explained the signs were for the Hudson items. I asked why the other items were marked clearance too and checked the clearance price and they too were between 60 and 70% off. I told her it was a hot mess in this isle. She agreed and explained she would get the manager to hang signs to clarify which is which. WHAT.? To the manager: Thank you for not showing up and clarifying. I also went to use the bathroom earlier in my shopping time; The women's was closed, and men's had no toliet paper. When I asked an employee there what was going on, I was told by an employee in the back room that the bathrooms were closed because of no toliet paper anywhere! Your store is a mess! What happened? I used to love shopping at your store.

Online their website says they had 3 iron on patches that I needed but when I went to the store they were nowhere to be found. A very helpful employee looked in storage but couldn't find it. She had some great ideas on how I could still do my project without the patch. The employees are always so creative and helpful but they need to figure out their inventory.

I was frustrated because I could not find the right fabric for a wedding gift, Skylar asked if I needed assistance. She helped me find the perfect fabric, did the measuring and cutting and by being so friendly and personable we talked and I bought more fabric pieces and left a Happy Customer.She truly saved the purchase, I was almost ready to walk out frustrated. Plz give a her a raise for being so helpful and saving a customer!! Thank you!!

This store is bright and clean, with lots of stock. It isn't always easy to find someone to help you. And there is at least one older woman working, who does not want to be there and she is crabby and rude. (I feel sorry for her.)

Very long line. Not enough staff. I should have bought online or went elsewhere. Waste of time. Cashier complained that my 3 year old was being restless in their very long line with only one cashier. Rude it is their fault I'm standing there for half an hour
