This YMCA is the best that I have visited. It has a variety of classes, some for seniors too. It was recently updated and is even better than before. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. I am in a Chair Yoga class and my yoga instructor, Mary Birchem, who is AWESOME in what she does and patient with our seniors class, if we have a problem she always tries to be helpful to us.........great teacher. Mary, thank you for all that you do for us!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL AT THE O'FALLON YMCA!!!!!!!

After spending all the money on new equipment and new desks for employees one would thing they would spend a few extra dollars to replace the defective plastic bottles used to spray the equipment to kill germs. I asked and was told it might be in next years budget.

Just excellent. I used to frequent the Belleville location and it's nice but has a much smaller parking lot. The people here are all friendly and facilities are very clean. I often joke with my wife that the restrooms and equipment has that hospital clean feel about it. Can't recommend it enough

Bet y'all didn't know that your wife or daughter may be sharing the women's facilities with a biological man! This happens at ALL the ymca's. I thought the YMCA stood for Young Men's Christian Association, apparently NOT!BEWARE

I like this Y location because there seems to be less unsupervised children in cardio and weight areas than other Y locations in the area. The equipment is nice, and there’s a variety of cardio machines. The only drawback is there isn’t a lot of space to do floor exercises—Belleville is a better location for that.

Incredibly clean and accommodating. Shout out to Stephanie who works the front desk. What a lovely host. Her pride in the facility made me feel like a good friend that she invited into her home.

My kids attended summer camp at this location. The counselors and facility were fabulous. Camp definitely helped my pre teen focus on something else besides a tablet and her brother was usually so exhausted that he was falling asleep by 7 and excited to go back to camp the next day. I highly recommend this camp. Register early!!

Class was amazing this evening. They have childcare and a huge child facility with 5 childcare providers in the care room - plenty of room to play tag hide and seek and art projects! Pool is nice with a sauna ? great after lifting. Locker rooms are all under renovations but almost complete within the next 2 weeks. Nice flooring and swimsuit dryer in the locker room. Basketball court is a full court and volleyball court for pre-k - adult leagues. Staff is plentiful & very warm. Guests were friendly. Like the cardio overlooks the sunset ? plenty of space cardio, track and weight room, yoga studio - upper class rooms with free weights and cardio rooms. Well organized facility.

I have fallen in love with Zumba thanks to Benita’s 4:15 class! I’ve been going regularly for over a year now. There is such an amazing energy with a great group of people, the music is on point, and it’s so much fun! She always says there are no wrong moves, just have fun. I try to get to her class as much as I can. It makes working out so much more enjoyable. Keep up the outstanding work Benita!!!

Basically my second home haha, free weights are awesome. Gets a little crowded around 5 but that’s normal almost everywhere. Staff are awesome, equipment is in good condition and is of good quality. Definitely would recommend!

Seems a great facility though the men's locker room/shower reeks of mold and mildew. You can smell it and see it at the bottom of the shower walls. It's black and orange and really nasty. There is no way this can be healthy. Needs to me remediated immediately.

The gym is nice, larger than most. The staff is pleasant, always nice. However I am giving them three stars because the ymca discriminates against those who work atypical jobs. And they only cater to those who work 9-5 jobs. I say this because the child care is only open before and after the typical "9-5". There is a four hour gap where people with atypical jobs want to go to the gym who can't because they don't have child watch the whole time they are open. But yet they have staff sitting around during the day. I get that there is slow time... but they should open the child car up earlier in the afternoon, either 2 or 3 pm. We have to do better for those who don't have 9-5 job, and is a parent wanting to better their health.

This is a great YMCA, I was previously a member of this YMCA when I lived in the area several years ago. They have updated and expanded the building. This is a very good facility with everything you need to meet your meet fitness program. They have a pool, indoor track and plenty of strength equipment. I highly recommend this YMCA.
