This happened on Monday 10/28 at around 11:45AM upon check out. Stayed in room 219 and one of the maids stole my wallet after I accidentally left it in the room. I know for a fact it was stolen the only two places I have been today are my car and the hotel. I left my wallet right on the table across from couch. It was right there before I left, when I came back to the hotel to retrieve it from the room at around 12:15pm it was gone. The front desk lied to me and said nobody had been in the room, well when I went up there the door hinge was holding the door open, so therefore a maid was in there. the maid came out of the room, and she stole it. The hotel staff covered it up for her. I will never stay here again. I will be filing a lawsuit against this hotel and calling headquarters.if this review gets taken down I will repost it.

My stay over at Comfort Suites Oakbrook Terrrace(IL074). Its address is 17W445 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181has been unpleasant. The staffs were rude , unprofessional and the location was difficult to locate, Uber drove around extra 10 mins to locate their address.
When I arrived on October 21 at 7:00 AM, I asked the front desk clerk if I could check-in early. The front desk clerk answered that it will be $50 extra for early check-in. After I checked in, I found out the hotel had marijuana smell. Then I went back to the front desk to request for room change. The clerk told me that there was no vacant rooms available at the moment but I could switch to a new hotel room on the next day.
Next day, I spoke to the African desk lady, Nicole to request room change. She refused to help because their hotel policy does not allow room change after checking in. I told her that the previous clerk, David promised me to change room for me the next day and I reserved the king size bed through Hotels.con
I went back to my room and shared my bad experience on the hotel survey. Ten minutes later, Nicole got infuriated at me over phone and asked why I wrote a bad review for the hotel. Because I wrote a bad review, they agreed to change the room for me. She asked me to pick up the keys from the desk for another room. However, after I checked into the new room, it was not ready. Facial tissue and regular coffee bags were missing. So I went to ask the house keeper who was busy cleaning. I knocked at door to get her attention but she did not answer. So I left the decaf coffee bags in the cart and picked up a box of facial tissue for my room.
Fifteen minutes later, I received a call from from front desk clerk, Stephanie. She complained that I left the decaf coffee bags at the housekeeper’s cart. I explained to her that I needed to switch the decaf coffee bags with regular coffee bags with the housekeeper. However, she did not bother to listen to my explanation and hung up on my call. Shortly after, Nicole called me and asked me to check out of my room today. I replied that if she can refund my hotel fee for today and my remaining stay, then I will check out. She retaliated that I need to check out now, otherwise she will call the police to escort me out.
While I was looking for another hotel to settle, three police man showed up to my hotel room and asked me to leave. The hotel charged me two nights of stay. It includes one night I did not stay, late check out fee of $50 after they called the police office to ask me to leave my room at 2:30pm, room service charge of $29.60 with state tax, and occupancy tax for $33.16 that i didn’t order any room service or damage property. I paid $209.00 for staying one night at the 2-star hotel, plus humiliation.
Please don’t stay at this hotel, staffs are corrupted, unethical behavior and many of housekeepers there don’t speak English . It was a nightmare experience. I attached the police officer card for my case information.

Upon check in, the young gentlemen from Italy, sorry, I forgot his name it starts with letter P, was very kind and friendly. He seemed very happy at his job and he did an awesome job checking us in. Thank you!

Horrible stay! Horrible staff they were super rude! Nothing works in the hotel! Room old paint peeling smells and was dirty!!! Whole vide of this place sucks!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

They have bed bugs! The breakfast is the exact same every single day. Run down pool, weight room, conference rooms and lounge. No one uses it due to none of it being inviting! I could touch the floor without something on my feet. No I would not be back. The people were nice though. But this place will close soon.

I found this place after a fairly lengthy drive up from Bloomington in Indiana. Having parked for free in their extensive car park, check in was done quickly and efficiently by a cheerful lady who welcomed me warmly. She gave me Room 320 which looks out on the back of the property away from the main road at the front. I had a good sized suite with one king sized bed. There was a large tv screen in that part of my suite. This was screened off from a small living room with sofa, TV, microwave & fridge. The smallish bathroom came with a with sink and an adjoining toilet with shower in the bath tub. There was no safe. Good wifi.The room rate comes with a standard free breakfast identical to what I've had in other hotels in this chain.I had to leave extremely early on the last day. That was easy enough. key drop at reception and a wave from the security guy :-)All in all I was happy that this place was close to restaurants, shops and other facilities but it's a long way from the city center (sic).

They don't explain that if you use a debit card for the 100 dollar damage fee you'll have to wait 7 to 10 business days to get it back an 3 to 5 business days if you use a credit card, side note I'm now on day 7 an the money hasn't been returned, they need to make it more of a priority to get people their money back , I called an the lady has no information or way to insure me I'll be getting the money back , I'm writing this cause I read the reviews an overlooked people stating they never got their money back due to false allegations from their staff etc, the room was Kool but slicking people out of a 100 is piss poor of them

We had a pretty large gathering because of our Uncles funeral, we came from Cleveland Ohio. Once we were all signed in we were accommodated with great service, and the breakfast was good too ??.

This hotel was awful. Poor upkeep and dirty. Check out the pictures. Asking for clean linens is okay but housekeeping doesn't do any thorough cleaning everyday. My coffee tray just got dirtier. My feet got as dirty as the carpet. Find another place to stay. I will.

When my parents paid for the room already the service told my parents that the pool was closed right after, that was part of the reason why we came so disappointed, then they changed up the story, at first the pool was supposed to be “clean” and then 2 days later when it was supposed to be open they had technical difficulties. The room had a broken microwave, I found a dead bug on my bed, and hair on the pillows they need to clean better I could be hired lol. The Gym had a few broken machines my brother was using the gym equipment and the screw came off on one of them, the gym is also rusty and old and wore out but me and my other brother got some of the equipment to work. The Internet can also be wacky at certain times. ALSO the main problem the motion sensors, anytime you even flinched or coughed the lights turn on how is anybody supposed to sleep when the lights turn on every time people move. We had to cover the motions sensors with stickers that’s how bad it got, but the bathroom would always turn on but the main thing was the living room light so that worked out for us. The worker couldn’t do anything about that. I wouldn’t come back here again literally such a waste of money. The couch also had a rip
