I am so happy to have found Bob. I have been looking for a real mechanic for years who is responsive and treats me like an intelligent human. I know enough about cars to know when I'm being ripped off, and am so tired of the 'technicians' at most places who really don't understand how vehicles operate. Bob thoughtfully assessed the issue, fixed what needed fixing quickly and kept me informed of everything along the way. Just as it should be.

Great people, and great at what they do too!
We had a car issue that had been unresolved for 2years (despite going to other mechanics). Things deteriorated to the point we couldn’t use our car. They diagnosed all the issues and our car has ran with no drama for close to a year now.
Note: They do charge more than any other mech we have used, but they deliver.

Good mechanics, but they take forever and have no respect for your time. They do not live up to their delivery promises. I took my Jaguar in before Christmas with the promise of it being done in mid-January. They had not even started it by the end of January put promised it by end of March at the latest. I eventually got my car back until June AND they made a joke about having it as long a it takes to make a baby. It was a big job ( engine replacement), but I expect any professional to live up to their promises and they weren't even close. The same thing happened a few years ago when I took them my corvette. My bad for using them again. I think Bob is a very skilled mechanic and a nice guy, but if he can't keep his word to me repeatedly- then he is more of a frustrataion then a useful mechanic

I had a tire with extremely low air pressure. Upon heading to a gas station to put air in the tire, I discovered a large nail in my tire. Never have being in this situation before I wasn't sure where to turn. Never the less, it was a Saturday afternoon and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get any service until Monday morning. I called Harlem and Division Auto Repair first - John told me to come on over and he would take a look at my car. John and another gentleman (I didn't get his name) where both incredibly nice and professional. John told me upfront that if they were able to patch the tire it would be $60. I didn't think that was too outrageous and was definitely cheaper than the cost of a new tire. Within 45 minutes, maybe even less, my tire was fully patched and ready to go! This was my first time at Harlem and Division Auto Repair and I will definitely be back!

After hours service for my blow out tire i am very grateful. They didn't have to but out of kindness of their hearts i was able to get off the road safely and got home to my family that night
