Went in to trade in an old PS4, ended up waiting 30 minutes while two girls who had no idea what they were doing tried to connect it to a monitor to test the console and controller. After 10 minutes of them basically standing there looking at eachother I had to remind them the HDMI cable wasn't plugged in... 20 minutes later they've tested everything. It's all working, then they go to cash me out and they don't have enough cash for me. Extreme waste of time and they should be instructed to check how much cash they have left before initiating a trade. When I called the Chicago Ridge Mall location and told them, the guy laughed and said "that location doesn't know nintendo from xbox"Have been coming here for at least 14 years. Never going back

As a former employee of this store, I can easily tell you the following:
1. The company nor the staff of this location care about it's customers. DO NOT for an instant believe anything they tell you. They are out for your money and nothing more. The stories online are very much true. I broke down on shift because of how terrible they were to me. PLEASE, support not only other franchises that are willing to not be this way, but indie developers who want to bring back what people really look for in any video game: and that is FUN.

Worst experience ever do do go here!! I am still waiting for a REFUND TO MY DEBIT CARD!! 3 DAYS !!! PLUS THE CASHIER DIDN'T KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING OR HOW TO DO A VOID!! Worst GameStop I’ve ever been the people don’t know the product they couldn’t find a customers PS five they had problems with selling a PlayStation plus subscription, and they really didn’t even try to help me find what I was looking for. Stood around for 25 minutes for them just to say no and get rid of me as fast as they could. This store deserves a zero star rating.
