This place has a lot of expectations and good reviews. Is it special? Yes. Is is luxury? Yes. Is it clean beyond any place I've stayed in North America? Yes. I got the whirlpool classic. It was expensive for one night I paid to stay until 3pm. Some things did rub me the wrong way. For one, the constant borderline push to upsell chocolates, roses, massage oils and champagne (with plastic champagne glasses) for the room. Again, this experience comes at a premium, there isn't a need to insist on adding Las Vegas wedding chapel like items. The insistence on the pre-check in and the rule to be there relatively on time. I paid for the room. Why does that matter? Also a text telling me that my checkout time is near. I'm aware of the check out time. Who else does that? Takes away a lot of class from a club like this. Also, groundskeepers were out at 8am on a Saturday morning using power garden equipment. Should be known that most guests had a late night if things went well. Some of the in-room amenities were somewhat lacking as well. Whirlpool had some mechanical issues (jet control valve) and bathroom was relatively plain (though it had a bidet). Bed wasn't super comfortable (especially for the purpose I wanted it for) and very tall for my vertically challenged partner. Romantic lighting under the bed was a nice touch, but we did not find a way to deactivate as we like to sleep in total darkness. So this is very difficult to give 5 stars to. Was it an awesome overall experience? I lean towards yes, but some avoidable things that management can easily correct really took away from this being a first class experience.

The best hotel stay we have ever had. It's so private, the tub inside the deluxe whirlpool suite is so large and lots of room for 2 people. The wifi could be a little better though!

Wanted to try out a different Sybaris then the one in Indianapolis. We really enjoyed Northbrook majestic room. Much better massage chair at Northbrook. Plus I loved having a 2nd big screen t.v. in pool room.. besides the TV in bedroom... Great 11th yr Anniversary !!

I had the classic whirlpool that didn't work. Overall we had a wonderful time. It would have been a lot better if that whirlpool was working.

The flickering fireplace created an intimate and cozy atmosphere, while the adjustable ambient lighting allowed us to set the perfect mood for our evening. The absence of windows and telephones was a thoughtful touch, ensuring that our time was uninterrupted and focused solely on each other.

The rooms and staff were amazing! It's definitely something I suggest experiencing. We will absolutely be back. They were very kind and accommodating. They made my birthday all the more pleasant!

I always enjoy going here! Always get the Deluxe Whirlpool Suite but hope to get a pool suite sometime. Usually go for our anniversary! I always look forward to it as it's very relaxing and peaceful.Rooms: The rooms are very nice. We stayed in the Deluxe Whirlpool Suite and included a giant tub, massage chair, steam shower and comfortable bed. Very relaxing and romantic!Safety: The gates are usually patrolled or locked. I always feel safe when I visit.

Omggggggg I wanna Move IN LOL!!!! This place is absolutely the best clean and sexy and romantic place ever. I love that is super private and you got like your own house, there is plenty of fun around as well. We went to the casino and sports bar plus BobQuinn Crab house. We got the Majestic Room OMG I am a neat freak so for this place to be newly renovated was spectacular!!! I was blown away! It’s super clean… super sexy and my fiancé loved it … Men love it here! The staff was so helpful and the security was extremely helpful .. I love it here!! I’m definitely coming back every year! It’s just totally worth every dime,,, Sybaris is the best !!! Yes!

All I can say is, "Fantasy, Fun and Romance!!!" We LOVED our stay. This place is so beautiful from the Front Desk Lobby to your suite. The landscaping, room decor, and things they offer in your suite/packages are AWESOME! The cleanliness is beyond measure, the have private security upon entering the gated area to check you and to prevent people who should not be there, stay off the property. It's so quiet, private and the great get away place. Exclusive parking right in front of your suite and even though I truly love babies/children and pets, I'm SO GLAD they're NOT allowed. Plus, they take NO smoking or drug usage on their property. And don't try it or anything you're NOT suppose to do because their security camera system is the truth. My fiancee and I truly needed this and the staff were so nice, professional and organized. I appreciate that and them so much. We will be back and I will be letting my family/friends know about this place. THANK YOU SYBARIS (Northbrook, Illinois).Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and shopping malls.Safety: Great security camera system and private security officer to let you in the gated area.

This place made for an absolutely wonderful for a romantic getaway for my wife and I! You get your very own bungalow which is extremely private. The staff is sensitive and respectful of your privacy as well. The room was IMMACULATELY clean, and the epitomy of romance. Jacuzzi tub was huge and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfy and clean. The massage chair was heavenly and the spa/steam room was a treat, even though the water pressure was weak (my ONLY critique). The staff are extremely nice and the extra treats on offer to be available on your arrival are a nice added luxury that is great to take advantage of. Overall: fun, private, relaxing, romantic and the perfect place to have a memorable time with your S.O..

A tremendously relaxing and romantic experience. The entire suite was clean to the point you would think it was just built. Room amenities were 10/10. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone couple that just needs a perfect, relaxing night.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon the days we where there were very relaxing. We love being on the outskirts of the city and not to far from things and having many different eating options by. The room was beautiful big tub and shower kitchen areas and steam room. I can’t wait to come back.Safety: Sits in a good location just have to look when it turns dark

Best getaway night ever! Babe surprised me for my birthday last night. Easy check in & check out. We had an amazing 1st night here. No kids. Phone on DND. We forgot our phone charger, but the room had a wireless charger. *Robes are in the closet. We didn’t see them till the next morning. (Should’ve been placed somewhere else.) We picked pizza from Rosati’s (4mins away), & some drinks from the liquor store. (2mins away). He used a Groupon, but, we’ll most definitely purchase without if not available next time.
