Great guy! Got my old Accutron up and running with modern batteries at a reasonable price, super quickly. Don't let such a cool watch waste away in a drawer; let Bob fix it!

Good afternoon, I have an Accutron Space View wristwatch, Bob has serviced it twice and did an excellent job both times. The second time it stopped working in shipment, I called Bob, he advised to return the watch to him for evaluation. It was determined the tuning fork failed on a 60 year old watch. Bob stated don't worry about it I will cover the repair at no cost to me. This is what we are missing in todays business: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also, Bob's is more than fair in his pricing compared to other Accutron sites on the web. Thanks Bob, Rick

This place is horrible. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. Lied about the services we were charged for and then lost 4 watches for weeks before they turned up under a shelf. After our father passed away, my brother and I decided to have his Accutron Spaceview and our Uncle’s Accutron and grandfather’s watch refurbished. My brother found another watch he liked while he was there and he decided to purchase it as well. After numerous trips and the call I received telling me that the watches had been lost, my brother returned the watch he was going to purchase and picked up the watches. Shelling out $800 for the repairs and “calibration” of the Accutron watches. Getting the watches home we found that neither of the Accutron watches held time and my grandfather’s watch stopped working altogether within a few weeks. The owner said to bring them back and he would recalibrate the Accutron watches but too much time and money had been wasted already. My brother then sent his watch to another repair service in Thailand and received it back in perfect working condition for about half the price and in less time. The repairman let him know that the watch was not clean and the gasket had been reused and the stem was bad as well. DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCHES TO THIS PLACE!Update: He deleted his Facebook account and now posted a bunch of fake reviews off of other sites and does not allow reviews on Facebook. This guy is a scammer. We found out he did not even replace the parts he said he did except for a cheap battery. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR WATCH!

Bob has been the caretaker for my 'fleet' of five Accutrons for over ten years. These are great watches with great history but I would never attempt to 'collect' them without a competent technician such as Bob.

Beware. This is the ugly truth about this guy, Bob Piker. I sent the Spaceview my father gave me years ago. It was a terrific looker, gold movement with Accutron Symbol second hand and accompanying hour & minute hands. It needed a battery, Piker told me. So, six or more weeks went by until the watch was returned. But, it wasn't my watch! I had taken excellent photos of my Dad's Spaceview before sending it. He gutted my watch, removing the gold-tone movement, all three hands and the top bezel and crystal. Believe it, because finally Piker admitted to switching the hands "accidentally"... followed by admitting the next day to Switching the movement, again "Accidentally." He send me a scratched case with a buckle-tone movement and what looks like 3 home-made hands. He said he put in a new coil and battery but didn't charge me for the coil (remember he said it needed only a battery). As completely unimpressive as the watch looked, it did not keep good time. This guy is not to be trusted. Obviously he has some issues since he asserts that "why would I want your crappy parts when I have thousands of them?" Oftentimes we don't know or understand one's motives, why they say or do things that are beyond reason. Checking with a lawyer who read all text messages (dated), his belief is the guy has broken state, interstate and Federal laws under many classifications, including Fraud. This is an All Too True experience. Piker's own written words convict him.

I sent my 1970 Accutron (in excellent condition) to MyBob for a cleaning and adjustment. ( It had begun to lose a few minutes a week. ). Upon receipt and “diagnosis”, Bob said a simple adjustment to allow the watch to run better on the 1.55v battery and cleaning would be needed. The cost was to be $215. A few weeks later I received an email from Bob saying the watch was sent back and he needed an additional $75 for a coil, which I sent. Bob also mentioned that the minute hand broke and was replaced at no charge. When the watch arrived I examined it and found a rather shabbily painted minute hand and a speck of paint on the inside of the crystal. I set the correct time and by the next morning it had lost a half an hour. 2 days later it stopped running. I advised Bob of the situation and he told me to send it back and that he had undercharged me for the coil by $225 and that the remaining coil may have to be replaced, to the tune of $300. I put the watch in the drawer and cut my losses. Find another watch repair business.

05/14/2021 Bob is a true Professional and very customer service oriented. He repaired my late father-in-law's Accutron #218 watch to perfection. My wife was ecstatic and sentimental over the pristine condition in which her father's watch was returned to her. Bob's repair price and time return was reasonable. I will certainly be sending my Accutron #218 watch to Bob for repair in the near future. Thanks *** ***** *******

After 5 (five) times sending My Accutron Spaceview 214 back to have it keep good time,I questioned his ability. He said he felt insulted and refused to do any more work on it after paying him $460.00,plus ship and ins.$60+. I sent it to another dealer. This dealer sent an email with full details of the faults of My Bob, the watch was never cleaned, there was dirt and metal dust on the tuning fork coils,(which I was charged $245 for new coils). The other dealer said they charge $60 for new coils. They also stated that the index fingers were bent that it would not be able to keep good time. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED AND HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF. I will be calling BBB.for a claim. Mr.Charles Costa

I'm not HAPPY AT ALL.I sent My 214 spaceview Sept.2019.To (Bob) spent 200 + for service and 245 for new coils. The watch came back running crazy fast,to make a long story fast.I had sent it back a total of 5 ( five) times) to still not having it run right to use as an acceptable time piece.I was about to send it back for the 6th.time,which I left a message on his phone saying that I was beginning to doubt his ability! He called Me back and told Me not to send it back because he felt insulted. Now take into the fact shipping cost Me $11.80 each time @ $59.00 .Now I have $529.00 into My watch that looses 3+min.a day. He did however return the service charge. His website says it 's the only Buluva recommended repair. I found BUDGET ACCUTRON that I had sent My watch to their basic service $260,and well worth it.They fixed My watch and after 4 days of running it has not gained or lost any time.(just like when I bought it in 1967)Back then Bulova said it would run + or - 1min.a month. P.S. they only charge $60.00 for new coils!! Carl C.
