I had taken my truck here in summer of 2023 for a cracked bell housing and U-joints. The truck ran fine upon completion of the job, but shortly after it started too leak and shake. I had taken it back as it was covered under warranty on 3 separate occasions. One was too replace a "defective" u-joint, which I don't think was ever touched, even though I was charged for it. The other two times were for "defective" gaskets. I don't think the gaskets were "defective" at all, they were installed in-properly. Approximately 22,000 miles later, the truck had cracked the bell housing again, destroyed the transferase, and needed seals. If you need someone to work on your transmission, steer far and clear from this place. The owner is nice, however they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to transmissions. $3,000 wasted for absolutely nothing.

Dan is great. He is always so friendly and welcoming. Even when it’s busy he’s willing to help. I was always having problems with my car until I came here. My car was in and out of the shop every other month. Since coming here maybe twice, 3x max a year for routine maintenance. They always fix the problems right away. They even taught me some things about how to take care of my car.

These guys are damn phenomenal. Dan, super helpful, and knowledgeable. He keeps it real with you and sees you as another person over a dollar. He tells you not from a profit standpoint, but what’s actually smart. Honest guy, with amazing customer service. Glad I ended up here, and I’d recommend this place to anyone needing some work done.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. This shop likes to buy the cheapest parts possible and make profit when they should be charging you the real price and a fair labor fee. Every time I’m around the shop (I’m here often, the l0$3r at the desk is always getting upset and the techs in the back are messing around…. Shop isn’t even organized. I wouldn’t trust a sloppy & ignorant shop ran by an emotional wreck. There’s better shops like Christian Brothers, Mike More Miles that have honest management and actually have solid techs.

Had my 2003 mitsubishi outlander transmission rebuilt here.
Works great!
Turn around time was about 1 and half weeks for a full rebuild, which is great for such a complex job.
Customer service is hands down some of the best I've ever had.
I would highly recommend this place when you need transmission work.
I will happily send more work their way.

What a fantastic and trustworthy group of individuals! I took my son's Lexus RX350 to Milex (Naperville) following a negative experience with Mavis (Naperville on Ogden, who tried to overcharge us with mistreatment and misinformation). Dan and his Milex team promptly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Many thanks to all of you!

This was my first visit to Milex Multistate for transmission work, based on a recommendation plus google reviews. The entire experience was great from the start to the time of my vehicle pickup. Excellent customer service along with reasonable pricing puts Milex Multistate on my list when vehicle repairs will needed. Al ,Dan and the rest of the team over at Milex Multistate are highly recommended,respectful,courteous, friendly guys,plus convenience location.

Dan and his team worked so hard on my 2015 Nissan VersaNote! It was quite the confusion at first as to what was wrong and they never gave up on it. I am truly thankful for all of the work they did to get my car back in great condition - just in time for my move to TX! Car AC runs better than ever now. I would recommend Milex to everyone in Naperville! This team will do their best for you and your car.
