Went for a much needed perm in preparation for a family reunion overseas. My old stylist was gone, they gave me another one. First sign of trouble was when she refused to tell me her vax status - which these days means only one thing. Also, she only had on a cloth mask in spite of CDC guidance to wear KN95 or N95 masks. She lied and said she had a disposable mask underneath. My husband said I should have walked out.She did not listen to me when I said the rods were not the ones my previous stylist used. My hair came out looking horrible. Before it was dry, she started to help me put on my coat even though it was winter. I had to ask to be placed under the hood so that my hair would dry. How unprofessional. In the end, I left looking 10 years older and now will have to go somewhere to straighten my hair.The place has no class anymore. The old crew were always well-dressed in black and white uniforms and well groomed and coiffured. My new stylist was dressed in something resembling sweats. Won't be going back.

I had been wanting to get my hair done for the longest time so I finally made an appointment with Shari yesterday and she was amazing! I'm obsessed with the coloring she did for me, the bangs are so cute, and my hair is so soft and silky! She was the sweetest stylist, highly recommend her and visiting Elegante in general. Very clean and professional salon.
