If I could give them zero stars I would. The experience with Stone Systems has been nothing short of terrible, to the extent that we finally after 4 months had Lowe's arrange to have the stone ripped out and we had our money refunded. Not only did they install the stone incorrectly, measured wrong and installed the wrong size stone, they subsequently lied about it and tried to make it our fault. They tried to tell us that "we should have confirmed the measurements ourselves" and that even though the representative measured with a laser and we talked through the measurements, that it was my responsibility to make sure that his measurements were right. Then, they made the stone a completely different size and installed it, and only when the rep came back out and admitted that it wasn't what he measured did we catch them in their lie. They also installed the stone with their logo VISIBLE on the stone edge and the island side walls, which was unbelievable. They also absolutely refused to have the evening line up on the waterfall edge, insisting that it is "not an industry standard" even though every other stone company and fabricator we have spoken with disagree and stated it is in fact industry standard, unless you are purchasing remnants of stone and they're piecing it together, which apparently this company is doing. They will NOT do a custom kitchen job but will charge you custom prices. The quality of the stone and the quality of the installation is absolutely terrible. We spent more than 4 months working with the Lowe's Executive Customer experience team to deal with their lies and deceit and finally had it removed so that we can move forward with a reputable company. Had we known that Lowe's was outsourcing with a company that has such poor reviews to begin with we would never have allowed them to install in the first place. Even worse, the island they installed, aside from the veining not lining up, was installed, crooked, and the stone was cut on an angle, so the island itself (only 4 ft) wasn't NOT EVEN STRAIGHT, it was cut on a V and was sloped inwards, which warped our island cabinets and made it where the doors do not open. The Lowe's representative finally came out to our home and was absolutely appalled and agreed that we needed to have the project removed. Sadly we have wasted 5 months now of our time and are back to square one without a kitchen in place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. You will regret it. Had they even admitted their mistakes and agreed to work with us, we could have tried to find a solution, however they refused and continued to lie to us. If it weren't for the Lowe's team and the representative admitting on a video that they lied about the measurements and admitting that they made the stone a different size than he measured, we would have been fighting for this even longer. The management staff is unprofessional, liars, and nothing short of scam artists who are overcharging for an inferior product and trying to see what they can get away with. I've looked at some other reviews and can see the pics of the poor quality installation and stone as well, and it's sad to see others getting ripped off by this company. If you go through Lowe's or any other store, make sure they do NOT use this company, and definitely avoid them as a primary stone company. Our life has been a living hell for 5 months now dealing with them and even though we have lost 5 months, having the stone finally removed from my home actually feels like we finally have progress.

Had Dekton countertops installed 2 years ago. The person who measured did an incredible job of mapping out the wall so there would be no pressure on the material as the walls contract and expand with the temps/humidity changes. Installers did an excellent job and were very courteous. A year and a half after installation, a chip developed next to the sink. While waiting for the repair, as I was putting away a glass measuring cup in an under counter cabinet, I hit the edge of the countertop and chipped a piece off, I was very disappointed because I had purchased this material because it was supposed to be indestructible. However, Stone Systems sent out a repairman who arrived in a very timely manner, did an excellent job of repairing both spots and was very courteous and explained what he would do to repair. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name, but he did an excellent job and was so personable. When he was finished I couldn’t tell where there had been any flaw!! Thank you for taking care of the problem!!

A Review of Stone Systems of Chicago
I recently had the pleasure of engaging Stone Systems of Chicago for the installation of ultra-durable countertops in my home. From the initial measurement technician's visit on October 30th, 2023, to the final installation on November 29th, 2023, the process was smooth and professional.
However, in May of 2024, I encountered an unexpected challenge when the edges of the countertops were chipped in two different places. Despite this setback, my experience with Stone Systems took a turn for the better when I reached out to their management team. The manager, exemplifying professionalism and courtesy, promptly responded to my concerns.
Within two days of my call, a technician arrived at my home. Although I regret not obtaining his name, I must commend his outstanding workmanship. Throughout the repair process, he displayed respect, diligence, and a remarkable attention to detail. His consideration for my family's comfort, particularly noting the presence of a newborn, was truly commendable. He thoughtfully communicated any potential disturbances, ensuring minimal disruption.
The results of his efforts were nothing short of remarkable. Upon completion, the repaired countertops appeared flawless, seamlessly concealing any evidence of prior damage. I am immensely grateful for the technician's expertise and efficiency, as well as Stone Systems' commitment to addressing my concerns in a timely manner.
While I acknowledge the need for greater care in the future, I am reassured by the knowledge that Stone Systems of Chicago stands behind their products and services with integrity and professionalism. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Stone Systems to anyone seeking quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer care.

Horrible experience. Countertops measured incorrectly and found out at install none of them would fit. Next measurement appointment they come unprepared and have to leave for paper to make a template. Impossible to get in contact with management. Completely incompetent at every step, recommend choosing literally anyone else.

Matt, Julio, and Francisco came out yesterday to install a full height backsplash, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They were professional, friendly, and precise. You can tell that they care deeply about the work they do, and they really exceeded my expectations as a customer. Before the install, the scheduling department went out of their way to accommodate a slightly earlier installation because they could tell I was in a bind. That meant a lot to me! Thank you!

My experience with Stone Systems has been nothing short of fantastic. From their schedulers to the installation team, everyone was very professional. I want to also give a special shout out to Matt! He was readily available and accommodating for ALL inquiries, whether it was regarding production, scheduling or installation. He even followed up after the job to ensure my wife and I were fully satisfied! HE IS THE MAN!!

Our experience with Stone Systems of Chicago was great. Pedro was very helpful in the office. John our installer was phenomenal. He did a great job with our waterfall and all the seams . Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for new countertops.

They haven't even measured or installed my counter as of 4/23/2024. My 1 star isn't for quality or work because they haven't done anything to my counter yet. My 1-star rating is due to someone at their call center name Carl who was rude over the phone and made no attempt to hear or help with my concerns over scheduling. The gave me a 4 hour arrival window and I asked if they can shorten the window so we can make sure we don't miss half day at work. He said no. I then asked if we can recieve an arrival call about an hour before arrival and he said he can put in the request but they don't have to call me an hour before arrival if they don't want. He said that they call 30 minutes prior which wouldn't give me enough time to get hom from work. If they gave me a hard time on scheduling and were rude, I can only imagine how they would treat me once they did the job and took our money. I'm calling Home Depot corporate to report and to see if I can go with a different vendor.

Measure tech came out looked over my sink did measurements and told me everything I have is OK to go with the instal I had a 2 hole faucet and a 1 hole sink being installed (i don't know how to do this which is why I pay people) they refused to work with me and while me and my fiance got into a little squabble over the issue on the way out the contractor which I found out is a sub contractor told my fiance he is sorry that she is with me

NEVER use this Company. I am a designer and never had such poor service and attention to detail. My countertop need to be done 3 times because they did not follow instructions from faucet dealer on the size of holes to cut. They were never on time or even remotely close to window given. When calling them you will get different locations, messages were never responded to. In 35 years in this business I have never work with a firm that was this incompetent!

Stone Systems, a Vendor for Home Depot. They are supposed to install my counter tops today January 17th 2024. It is noon time but yet have not called to confirm the install or anything. They have not responded to Home Depot either. This has been the experience with this vendor since day one back in November. A joke of a company. A month ago they came in to their own measurements for the counter tops only. Ever since that day they have called me multiple times to schedule the same as if they have never come in and we have to spend 10 minutes of out time to get them on track and to find the paperwork before they realize that they already have done it. Now they are not here and it is 12pm and not a peep from them. But, they are very fast to demand and to take the Money from us and from Home Depot.

Steer clear of this company. Stone Systems was a vendor a Kitchen remodel we performed with Home Depot. On the initial install they seamed together two pieces of Quartz that did not match at all. Stone Systems had to come out and cut out a portion and replace it so it actually matched. Four months down the road, the quartz has cracked exactly where they seemed it together. They sent out a technician who stated that its a problem and they need to fix it. After 11 days I haven't hard anything so I reached out to Stone Systems. Stone Systems now states they wont be handling any cracks. The quartz is 4 months old and Stone Systems wont handle the situation. Quartz doesn't crack in four months unless there's a defect or an installation error. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DONT ALLOW THEM TO SERVICE YOUR HOME IF REFERRED THROUGH HOME DEPOT!
