Kirby is the worst clinic in the world. Still living in the stone ages with their equipment. Bradley Peterson, unworthy doctor who laugh at the people he see (aka my pregnant wife). He the main reason I’m given them a one star

I've mailed my new patient papers in and then faxed them in twice and every single time they are lost and I'm not able to even get consideration as a new patient. Called multiple times to check, last time the woman who answered took down my phone number and told me she would look into my paper work being lost, bring it up with a manager to see what the problem is, and call me back. I haven't heard back in over a week. I *cannot* go to Springfield clinic where I live and siu had a wait time of over 6 months for a new patient. I wanted kirby because it's the closest to me but now it seems like I'll have to drive to champaign to see anyone in network and without waiting 6 months.

Very good hospital over all. Not long wait times, they get you in and taken care of, and get you out. Staff all very nice and caring. Would recommend this hospital!

Very nice doctors, very nice staff. NEVER GO TO THE ER. With insurance you will pay over A GRAND for advice and some pills. Just criminal prices man. Feel bad for the elderly i really do. Hats off to the kind doctors though they are really nice

Amazing staff. Emergency Room Receptionist tonight was very kind and welcoming. The RN that took care of my baby was super caring! Super glad we came to Kirby Medical Center ER. We will be back again, the care here was excellent and worth the 35 minute drive from our hometown!! ??

12/14 Update.About 90 minutes after I left the review below I received a call from the director of the center, Sarah. She listened to my account of what happened and was very apologetic and asked what she could do to make this right. We agreed on a remedy and within an hour the issue was resolved. Thank you, Sarah, for stepping in and helping me.Regards.Dan B.As of today I am no longer a patient at Kirby thanks to the incompetence of their staff. I tried to make an appointment earlier today with my primary care provider. He was off today. Which is acceptable. I asked if anyone one could see me and was told that my best bet was their Quick Clinic (walk-in). While in the phone, I explained what I thought my medical issue was and if they could prescribe meds if they agreed. I was told yes. I drove from Decatur to their Monticello facility, waited in line and in the room for roughly 45 minutes and then was told their policy was not to prescribe meds for abdominal issues. This was told to me before the nurse practitioner even bothered to see me. I explained that I had specifically asked if they would be able to assist before I drove there. I was told that didn’t matter. Their solution was to go to the ER even though this wasn’t an ER issue. Again, complete incompetence in my opinion.If someone in leadership wishes to discuss this with me, I’m the one who sent an appointment request in for David Liss early today and after not hearing back had to call. I’m betting I will not be contacted.Dan B.

So, I got a bill today from Eagle Recoveries (a collection agency) for $163.00. This was because of an er visit where I tested positive for covid. I called Kirby billing and spoke with Laurie, she was very nice and and loooed into it for me. She said it was obviously covid related and should be written off, which she did. Please double check your billing.helpful

Nice people from check in to the Dr in the ER,got triaged in no time nurse said they're slammed today I would have to wait in the waiting room a while 30 min later they called me back to a room I figured I'd be here a couple hours before anything was done but I was wrong,Dr couture was quick to come examine me and did not rush through the exam,she's very knowledgeable and thorough I'm used to small town hospital as I drive a truck cross country I figured they would put a band aid on me send me on my way but they're really tryingThanks so much for the wonderful care Kirby medical

Amazing place had 2 surgeries there made sure I was comfortable and had something to eat and drink after I had the most amazing nurses taking care of me they were very polite explained everything to me thank you Kirby for keeping me in good hands and keeping me comfortable helping me to the bathroom when I needed it

Husband was in ER for a bug of some kind. Dr Park was excellent with his care. He was very knowledgeable and even help my husband get dressed when he was discharged. The nurses were exceptionally helpful also. We are so lucky to have this quality of care in Montcello

The ER doctors and nurses would constantly interrupt after asking a question, staff generally seemed cold and didn't seem to care weather or not they actually solved any issues. It felt like they just wanted to find a temporary solution and kick me out.
